  1. I really want one of these, mostly for the 10 round capacity.  These varying reports are a bit unnerving, especially as I already have a perfect G43.  Maybe I will just pocket a spare mag and check back next year. It is a smitch smaller, but still not really small enough for pocket carry like my lcp2.

  2. I had the adapter from your photo, it did not hold zero between shots on an m&p_9pro.  I tried another where the open split was on the top rail, worked better. The problem is the dot is very high over the slide. I then switched to a dovetail mount, they are much much better (I think that was from speed shooter specialties, I still have it but it’s for an m&p). I found I liked shooting open so I had my slide carved to imbed the Trijicon.

Also check out Carver, they make some better mounts as well. I have their comp/kkm setup.  https://www.bb-enterprise.biz/

I wouldn't use the Tax Collector office for certain things like CWFL renewals. Remember, they're the "Tax Collector," after all. :o If you have a tax dispute with them.... :dontknow:  I used it only to get my new FL Driver License upon arrival in FL, and to transfer the title of my car, but that's about it.  Now I can do those renewals on-line directly to the State office.   And the DOACS regional office is close enough for me to do that and walk out with the license in hand.

You need to get that nj paranoia checked!  You are in America now.  All of the woman at the tax office were chatting away with my wife on what and how they carry.  They were in total disbelief about how nj is.

Unless you didn’t pay your ridiculously low property tax on time, even then I don’t think there are any penalties, however my county offers a discount for paying early.

Said it could be as long as six weeks or as short as 5 days, most about two weeks. For proof they accept a qualification car in any shooting sport, so I gave them both my IDPA and USPSA cards.

My wife received hers in 3 days recently, they are very efficient down here!  My renewal took 10 minutes, they print the cards for renewals on the spot right in the local county offices (no need for doacs anymore).

  5. Has anyone removed the bump from the front of the trigger guard, making it rounded?  I am thinking of doing this to my g43, so it fits a bit better in my desantis pocket holster.  (Of which I usually use my lcp2 for pockets).  I do have a kydex holster with a single clip that I use at 3oclock.  Are those wider holsters with the double clips (like the alien gear) worth it?

  6. Saw it, was ok, really liked Lando.   Rogue One is awesome.

Star Wars used to be a favorite, now it’s a story about losers. Solo abandons his wife and son, a deadbeat dad to chase bad deals with his Wookiee pal. Leia runs the rebellion into the ground. Luke trains one bad egg and runs away to an island to fade into oblivion. What a bunch of inspirational heroes.

  7. I was going to wait it out for a P365, but it’s seeming more and more it has some design flaws that I don’t know if I would totally trust it over my current LCP2 and G43.

So for my next purchase I am going for the cool looks. I am currently thinking the classic of a Beretta Inox, or go big with a Desert Eagle in 357mag double action (and maybe also get the 50ae conversion).

    Thoughts or other ideas?

  8. Will you be using it for defense or target only?  The Ruger Blackhawk has a model in 357/38 with a 9mm cylinder as well. You can plink with the same 9mm rounds you already have, and just buy 357 mag for the smiles.

If you can (ACTUALLY) afford it, that's an unintelligent question, honestly....

I do hate overpaying for name brands unless they are really worth the premium.

For this class inverter, it seems that Honda is #1 and Champion is #2(maybe?).  I now find Costco has a nice Champion inverter, dual fuel right out of the box.  It seems the better value with the features, price still around $900, and Costco support. Could be a bit noiseyer than honda. Anyone with any Champion experience?

  10. Looking to get an inverter generator. Is the low price harbor freights any good? Or am I better off crying once and just get the Honda 2200i and be set for life? Thoughts?

For the use, want the inverter clean power, very quiet operation, and the excellent fuel consumption. May only use it for a few days, once a year, in the summer in FL if a storm knocks out power. Only need to run one appliance at a time, so fridge during day, small portable ac at night, tv or laptop, and occasional microwave. The 2200i has plenty of power and maybe I would use 2 gallons of gas per day.

Hillsborough Shooting Center I was told was closed down by the NJ State Fish & Game for deer check in violations...

Untrue. The guy that owned the building gave it to his son, who kicked them out to start his own business. This from the co owner who just finished expanding the fishing dept on the second floor.  A shame as even though range time was paid for an hour, they let you stay till whenever. They had great prices as well and would deal.

  12. You have to start using the correct terminology, instead of the liberal feel good terms.

They are not high capacity magazines!

They are standard capacity. My Sigcame with 18 rounds, my beretta came with 17.  I did get a 20 round extended mag for my beretta.

What NJ is forcing is “reduced capacity” magazine, on top of the already reduced capacity magazine law.
