Hah, correct, but a dead man tells no tales.

So, would you be arrested and go to trial if you protected your family, or yourself, in a home invasion?  In most other states, you would not be arrested and tried, even if later it turned out they were unarmed .  Unarmed does not mean not a threat or not dangerous or not able to cause severe harm. In nj???

  2. A better story would be how many people are planning to leave nj because of this. It is alleged the officer did not rush in because he is close to retirement. They do not get 6 figure pensions in FL, but they do in nj. All speculation of course, but with no duty to protect, risking a golden retirement, and residents unable to protect themselves. Lots of angles for an interesting story

What did you spend on Utah? I spent $60 + the cost of the License. I also got Florida for the cost of the License + passport pictures at Walgreens (IIRC $6). Utah covers states NH does not. Florida covers states neither Utah or NH cover including Florida.

For Utah, you have to take their Utah specific class, I don't remember what I paid for this, somewhere around 100 for everything . I already had FL

Ms. Park I will warn you from what I know watching my wife at the range... it's going to be very overwhelming with a bunch of guys all trying to talk to you at the same time. Sometimes it's like it's the first time they ever saw a woman....

Where do you go?  This has never happened at all when my wife goes to the range.

This reporter definitely needs to talk with someone knowledgeable, as her comment "...buying a gun in the   next week..." is hilarious!  Depending on where she lives, she would be lucky to purchase one this year as a first time fpid applicant. Definitely pick a certified instructor for your first range trip. Enjoy!

I've been saying this for ten years now. "Oh, just move to a "free state" like PA, FL, AZ, etc. and have all the guns you want!"

Yeah, move to the same place tens of thousands of people from NJ/NY/CA are also moving! I'm sure nothing in those places will change!

Time to stop running, time to start fighting, soon there will be nowhere left to run.

Agreed, "we" all need to move to PA/FL/AZ to keep the proper balance and keep the winning momentum. nj is done for, need to squash their efforts before they spread. It's escaping from the goolog, not running, its redeployment to the front lines.

  6. Florida is not going full libtard. The media want us to believe that so we just give up. It is part of their propaganda campaign (just like annoy jane from nam).  This garbage is coming from Miami, part of libtard land, just like those pockets in every state. It's just this tantrum is a bit louder,   just noise. Stay focused!

we already have a 3-day wait for handguns, but it's waived if you have a cwl .

If there were two things that were common sense, it would be (IMHO) bump stocks and mag capacity.  It's stupid to vilify SA weapons, but it's realistic that going longer before reloading, and rapidly firing in a more convenient/faster manner, might be less than necessary.

You have to stop going to IDPA and enter some USPSA events. Then you will see how fast mag changes are and how worthless restrictions are.

And you need to review the definition of "common sense ".  It's common sense that since more people are killed by drunk drivers that bars should limit drinks sold, or maybe beers should be limited to 3 ounces

Congrats!!  Beyond jealous here.  3 kids with the youngest in 4th grade.  Stuck in this hellhole for 8 more years

I don't understand this. You are sentencing your children to liberal corruption, brainwashing, they will meet like minded friends, meet someone and marry here, you will never leave. For the children, move now!!

  9. As it seems their quality is going down, how are the latest models of p226 doing?  My son has his eye on my German steel slide version, so I may need to replace it with another.

  10. It's not a psyc med issue, it's a "how many red flags are needed until you do something" issue. He had meds AND active threats to friends, school, police, fbi. So why if this was a domestic complaint, everything would be confiscated and put on a nics hold. Yet for all he did nothing was done.  At that point when everything is taken away, if he really was fine he can go to court and have it reinstated. Multiple flags should trigger something, with a way to prove either way.
