  1. Im flabbergasted that anyone thinks the stock trigger group is ok! I've shot toy cap guns

with better triggers! lol . Personally if there was only one thing i could do to the CX4 it would be the trigger,it's a rough ,plastic POS IMO.

    But to each his own..

It depends if you are using it for bullseye or not. It could also depend if its a newer or older batch cx4, and round count with the stock trigger. Mine is polymer not rubber, and from the few reports here does not flex like some are saying. If it was really that bad there would be more than one person making replacements. I may change my mind if I tried one with the SP trigger, but the current condition of my stock trigger does not having me shelling out the clams. Of course, the same can be said for the spring rod, of which I did replace mine for reliability.

  2. again... please hear me.. do not put the shroud on the gun.. it is useless..

do you put a barrel shroud on every gun you own, so you don't burn your hand?

It also reduces muzzle jump, and prevents rust

  3. I kept the stock trigger (mine feels fine), but did swap out the plastic guide rod for the SP steel one. If you split the storm open incorrectly you can easily snap the flimsy floopy stock plastic guiderod. I have the moerse barrel shield, its extremely lightweight, looks good, and functionally keeps you from burning your hands on the barrel. Maybe instead of a vert grip, you can go with a magpul AFG.

  4. At Dix the berm is way in the back, and the target stands can be setup at multiple distances, same for Easton, same for Shongum. So this is not the case at CJ? I would only be able to shoot pistol at 25/50, and rifle at either 200 or 300? So why is this club so popular and has over 2500 members?

  5. I bought a CX4 from a member on here, it is .40 cal. I already have a 96FS so I figured now I would have a bunch of interchangeable magazines, NOPE! The CX4 uses the PX4 mags, not the 96FS mags. Oh well, bought a few more CX4/PX4 mags.

    ...

It is a decent gun, I am not doing the trigger mod, it is perfect for me the way it is. The Saiga on the other hand does need the conversion, the stock trigger is yucky.

I am also happy with the stock trigger once it was broken in. I did change out for the steel guiderod.
