No. Means the bullet itself is the same width, however not the same length and the shells are different sizes.
-
Well i guess thats the problem. Even the CZ site says 16rd mag. it should say 15+1... Some FFL's prob think its 16+1.
-
Just curious b/c i know nothing about this particular pistol, but it does come with a 16rd mag. as per the CZ web site. Do they also make a 15rd one specifically for complience?
-
I disagree...
If this thought process was correct taking a stock off of a gun to change it would result in an illegal sawed off shotgun "a rifle shorter than 26 in" while the original stock was off... It would do the same during a simple barrel swap on a hunting shotgun..
I believe if you take the gun apart to work on it then and complete the work in one sitting...
Take upper off
Remove stock
Unpin
Adjust length
Repin
Put gun back together...
I believe you are fine... Because the gun is not functional while the gun is apart.. While there is no hard law I can point to I will say this.. While gun is apart it is not a complete working gun... I feel that making the gun not operational during the process illustrates intent..
You actually make a really good point, tho wouldnt constructive possession cover that? Either way obviously only if you are attracting pretty unwanted attention would this ever be an issue anyway.

You have just a stock or the whole rifle? If you possess a complete rifle or all the parts to put one together, the second you unpin the stock you would technically be illegal.
-
im seeing it as a 16 round mag... am i missing something?

ahh good old CS. been playing since the 1st beta

shoot both multiple times then decide. NEVER buy a gun soley based on reviews or other people's opinions. I personally went with an M&P for my FULL SIZE handgun.

Eddie,
Welcome. Its a great hobby to have tho it can be expensive if you are very passionate about it. Just remember to be safe. Its always good to take a beginners safety course no matter how confident you are. Always remember the FOUR RULES!
Be safe, have fun!

no, there is a difference in the length of the shell casing
There are very few you can mix and i wouldnt recommend it. one example you can is 223 in a 556 upper but NOT 556 is a 223 upper. Read read read.
