  1. 41:3-1. False swearing, affirmation of declaration; perjury
If any person shall willfully and corruptly swear, affirm or declare falsely, in or by any oath, affirmation, declaration or affidavit, required to be made or taken by any statute of this state, or necessary or proper to be made, taken or used in any court of this state, or for any lawful purpose whatever, such person shall be deemed guilty of perjury and punished accordingly.

41:1-2. Persons required to take oath of allegiance
The governor for the time being of this state, and every person who shall be appointed or elected to any office, legislative, executive or judicial, under the authority of this state, or to any office in the militia thereof, and every counselor, solicitor and attorney at law, shall, before he enters upon the execution of his trust, office or duty, take and subscribe the oath of allegiance prescribed by section 41:1-1 of this title.

    41:1-1. Oath of allegiance; form
Every person who is or shall be required by law to give assurance of fidelity and attachment to the Government of this State shall take the following oath of allegiance:

"I, , do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of New Jersey, and that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same and to the Governments established in the United States and in this State, under the authority of the people So help me God."

So how do we charger them with violating their oath?

It might be a good idea for the 2A advocacy and industry groups to begin looking into alternative means of payment, whether that means creation of a dedicated card, some variety of cryptocurrency, or something entirely different.

I was thinking the same thing,   For example Cabelas,  what if you purchased a "Cabelas gift card" for say 1500.00 dollars and used that to purchase a gun.   I'm sure there will be many "loopholes" as the anti-americans call them.

  3.  Im considering possibly retiring to Delaware,   anyone familiar with their process.    I read the requirement and it says you need 5 references from the county you live in that have known you for at least a year.   that seems like a NJ thing to prevent anyone from applying.    anyone have any first hand experience with this or any other Delaware tips   Thanks

  4. I cant seem to find the disturbing video,  I have found one that shows a guy breaking into a house and someone shooting him to defend themselves.     The only disturbing thing is that the homeowner was forced to use deadly force and will probably go through life now wondering why the fuc this guy would continue his assault once told by the homeowner that he was armed.   I wonder that myself,  once told by the intended victim that you are armed with a gun and will shoot to defend yourself why would a attacker continue?   did they do an autopsy to see if he was on drugs?

  5. I would go with a .22 revolver,  Many are 7, 8 rounds depending on LR or mag,   I have a model 41, a mk2 ruger,  beretta m21  and a.22 sig conversion for my p229 each one only likes a certain brand ammo and are very picky as to ammo.

my s&w 617, and K22 always work with anything,  they are too big and heavy to carry but a s&w model 43c should be perfect in fact I am looking for one to match my 442

  6. can the NJ 2A groups request that the NJ AG create a training SOP for 911 call takers  for when the karens start to call 911 when they see or think a citizen is carrying a gun.   This will most certainly happen with our new found rights.

question 1 from the 911 operator on a call like that should start like :    911       "what makes YOU think he has a gun and is not legally allowed to have it"

                                                                                                                                 Karen     "I'm scared,       I think he's a bad guy"

well we know how it plays out from here.   what do you think.

  7. A co-worker had solar installed about 9 months ago in mercer county.     when it went active his bills started to skyrocket.   He had it investigated and company that installed them screwed entire install.  estimates of up to 5g to repair.

fast forward to today,  he is living in the Hilton on rt 1 in Princeton cause his house burnt down.   Investigator said it started on roof by solar connection.

It occured to me that, even in the event that a favorable ruling does not produce quick compliance by NJ, it might expand my carry privileges elsewhere. As I mentioned in another post, I hold CHP for Utah, Virginia, Florida, and New Hampshire. In aggregate, that allows me to carry in 35-ish states. The remaining states fall into one of two categories. There are a small number that, like NJ & NY, pretty much lock down concealed carry to LE and deny it to everyone else. There are also a few that are substantially "shall issue" states, but with the prereqisite that an out-of-state applicant must hold a CHP in his or her state of residence. I suspect that, in the event of a broad favorable ruling, those states might begin to waive that requirement for other states that are out of step with it, I just don't know how long it would take.

The concealed carry courses for the out of state permits that are being administered by some of the gun groups in NJ should have converted to NJ permit classes when the SC first took this case,  This way if a favorable ( constitutional ) opinion we could have all submitted them that day.     now were behind the curve and the state will fire the first shot instead of us.

Everything I've read/heard (including the ANJRPC/Schmutter video and the latest Gun For Hire Podcast with Scott Bach of ANJRPC) says trying to prep is a crapshoot, because no one knows for certain how the state of NJ will react if we get a favorable decision in Bruen that makes the justifiable need requirement unconstitutional.

Best case scenario I've heard -  NJ judges stop enforcing the justifiable need portion immediately after the Bruen decision and/or the NJ Attorney General issues guidance that justifiable need is no longer a requirement.

In that scenario, you could prep by passing a live fire qualification course at a recognized range that also does LEO/SORA qualifications and then submit your carry permit application as "normal".  Depending on your police chief's proclivities, it may get denied by her/him, in which case you would appeal and it would come before a judge, or the chief approves it and then it goes before a judge anyway.  Schmutter has suggested that judges might not adhere to the justifiable need requirement if SCOTUS has ruled it unconstitutional because they (NJ Judges) may be subject to sanctions/liability otherwise.

A good plan executed NOW with vigor is better than perfect plan executed 10 minutes late.   G.S.P.

I have mentioned this in several posts recently,   Have the Florida / Utah classes changed into a NJ class NOW.   This way 100,000 applications can be submitted on day 1
