    I found a gen 4 Glock 23 for sale online at a good price. Bought it.

     

    I have never been a fan of glocks by any means, I am a 1911 guy and always will be. Glock is a good all around weapon, and since I get free .40s&w ammo from work, I figured what the hell.

    Again, stay on topic and answer what I came here for, not a Glock/1911 debate.

     

    I am sending the frame to Miami gun smith to have it cerakote coated.

    I am asking for color ideas.

    I am also buying a tac light for it. which do you like best/recommend

    I'm not sure if this is the right section or whatever but I was on my way to get an oil change over on bay avenue in Manahawkin when I passed a new firearms store.

     

    P&K Firearms & Ammo inc. It's called. He said they opened about two months ago which I haven't been in that area for quite a while but anyway I stopped in and talked to the guy for a bit, not sure if it was the owner but he was real nice, pretty good pricing it seemed compared to a couple other places I've been to. I bought two used ar mags straight vietnam style for $10 a pop not bad.

     

    Anyway wasn't sure if anyone else posted about this place, check it out. He's got a couple m1 garands for sale they looked pretty nice too.

    There is a video of a man in police custody who pulls a 1911 out of the front of his pants. He takes a sup from a water bottle and puts the gun to his temple and pulls the trigger. All that happened was a hole with blood coming out.

     

     

    I actually saw that back in 2010 for my job training. I remember the sound of the blood dripping on the ground. The purpose of showing it was to reinforce how important it is to pat down/ search them before making an arrest.
