If you're going to do USPSA Production or IDPA check out Blade Tech or Comp Tac.

The TFO sights are fine for Production. Unless you already have a race holster I'd shoot the Sig in Production even in .40.

Just a regular OWB holster to replace the crappy Safariland holster I have for my 1911.

How does one go about designing a stage? Is there a database of old stages somewhere to look at and get ideas or do you just start with a blank piece of paper? And how would I know the limitations on space and available stage materials? I've never designed a stage before, but could give it a shot...although you might want a backup stage in case whatever I come up with sucks

Check out the GAP baseplate. They recently started making them for the G19. It's smaller than the one pictured above and might add just enough room for your pinky.

I've given myself a blood blister before when I got pinched between the mag baseplate and grip, but I can't imagine how you'd break a bone inserting a magazine into a pistol

Hi Howard, what types of scenarios did you do in the simulator and what kinds of feedback/analysis did it provide that you were able to implement in your subsequent range session?

So the price for 25 rounds was so high that it could feasibly have been for 250...sounds like typical CTD to me.

Great match, so nice to get out and shoot after the looong winter! (even though it still felt a bit wintery yesterday)
And a special thanks to 2Alpha for designing and building a stage even though he didn't shoot the match!

Bushnell TRS-25, $80 on Amazon. They're great for the money, I have one and it works very well. It's pretty small so you should be able to mount it towards the back of the rail. I've used it on my 22/45 and put it right in front of the rear sight, but I have a different rail on mine; should work fine with the factory rail though.

I'm going to try to make it. Realistically how late is this match likely to run? It's been at least a year since I shot a match at EFGA; IIRC the matches usually run until about 4:00. So maybe this will be done by 5:00? Or a lot later?

Almost forgot to mention, caliber conversion kits aren't legal for USPSA Prouction. I'm not sure if they're allowed for IDPA.
