This is the sad state of affairs that NJ has fostered for us citizens to live in. No one wants to even have a wiff of illegality, which in itself isnt a bad thing. And frankly I blame the state for this, not the citizens. At this point it seems that the NJSP is good to go with non-nfa. But has there been guidance sent to the other law enforcement municipalities of their legality so some ignorant officer wont tackle you if they see you at the range with what they perceive as an SBR?

I'd wager there hasn't been any guidance set.

Doggies going to be getting the lead with all these SBRs around.

I swear the psychology of some gun owners is bat s**t crazy. I guess some shit is to good to be true and has to be over analyzed and prodded into oblivion by a few “well” meaning gun owners. Build it anyway.

    EXACTLY

Let's just keep asking questions to the ATF and NJSP until we get an answer that's not good.  /S

Do we enjoy having their boot on our neck that much?

It'll work for 200 yard rifle shooting.

I prefer 1/2" ar500. It holds up a bit better when laser cut like that is, and the weight keeps you from flipping it when you shoot it.  If you are shooting .223 that would probably be fine at 200 though.

I use rubber straps rather than chain these days though. Was buying them pre-cut (looked like they were made out of retired motorcycle tires), but I jsut bought a big roll of decommissioned fire hose.  Works great and doesn't matter if someone shoots the strap.

    Thanks i appreciate the input!

I think they only allow steel at 200, is that the case?

Just remember, if the "peasants" decide to revolt, the most powerful military and police forces will be there in a second to snuff them out. The militia is no match for these warriors. This incident is proof, right??

Oh, wait... ONE GUY tied up and handcuffed a complete police force and caused issues for two schools...  ONE guy...  I wonder what a few groups of "focused" guys could do????

    Good point!

Also, 19 Saudi's with razors SHUT DOWN THE ENTIRE COUNTRY for almost a week.

  5. Closing remarks

"This decision is a freedom calculus decided long ago by Colonists who cherished
individual freedom more than the subservient security of a British ruler. The freedom
they fought for was not free of cost then, and it is not free now."

I believe it only applies to the IL requirement to have your FOID on your possession at all times, even in your home.

    You're correct.

I think if this does make it's way to SCOTUS, it could have big implications regarding FOID laws.

That's years away though, especially with 2A cases.

Amazing, how injunctions are applied hours after laws pertaining immigration are enacted, but a 2A case takes YEARS to make its way through the courts.

    That is impressive...

With that obstruction would you not have all the gas pressures blowing out near the bolt?

Wow.... Murphy is making Sweeney look good in a relative sense.

In any case, imo the correct response to this is to leave the state if you can and take all of your money with you.

    I agree, but go where?

PA will fall in a few years, after that is TX. (Look at CO, the infection is spreading)

Without a second battle of Trenton, we have no hope.

Somebody suggested earlier, instead of pro 2A I think we should start giving our money to the liberals,  it might work if we buy them.

How many rounds of 45 can you fit in the barrel of a 4595TS?

Well this guy managed to squeeze 35 rounds in there.

When he called stating he was having accuracy issues he had no idea the rounds had not left the barrel.
After receiving his carbine in we discovered the issue, rebareled his 4595TS and sent it back to him.

    Hows that for customer service?

There is a breaking point... What that point is no one knows...  Is it a 50.00 permit fee? $400.00 non existent carry permit fee or the fact we pay the highest property taxes in the nation...  If $15000 - $20000 a year in property taxes on a regular house (not ultra Rich) did not do it will a permit fee be the breaking point... I doubt it.   Even with all this we will have a voting block that lazy and uninformed.   Just so you know.... Its been many months since the mag limit was signed and we still get people asking "If" the law changed...   This is one of the scariest thing you can imagine.... They are so uninformed or Ignorant they dont even know they are felons by default.

100%.... those of us who have worked our entire lives to build what we have do not want to see it vanish... The government is very efficient at destroying people over some stupid shit. (General Flynn is a great example), They will use tactics only seen in non free nations to force compliance.   Its the main reason law abiding people never Riot, Continue to pay extreme taxes without representation and follow all laws regardless of how we personally feel about them. We even follow laws we know are

Part of me wants the left to get crazy laws passed on gun control,  maybe that's what it will take to get us to take on the offensive.

Things have to get worse before they get better,  that's just my opinion.

It wasn't a simple tax that caused our forefathers to kill the British,  it was generational oppression.

This NJ Forum has become nothing but a crying towel.......cannot see this continuing without a breaking point...omo.

There is nothing more dangerous than a man with nothing to lose.

I as do many others have a lot to lose,  therefore we're not dangerous,  the government knows this,  hence they trample on our unalienable rights.
