  1. Gun broker has been pushing their price near 800-900 in some cases. They have more of a cult following than most. I had bought one in 2003 before all they hit the big time. I sold it in 2006 to help buy a house and missed it dearly, so I grabbed a .40 here finally. Now opportunity knocks with my AR situation. Well see what happens.

Didnt mean any disrespect just was wondering why you were placing the value on it so high. Didnt realize they were going for that much. Good luck on your hunt for one.

  2. They haven't been going for 400 even before all the craziness

Bought mine for under $400 less than 6 months ago. Used but in like new condition from a dealer.

  3.

If you ever decide to sell your Sub2000 let me know. I would grab it up....

Yes you did! Now I am looking to trade my Bushy M4ergry for another one in 40 or 9.

Prob not looking to get rid of it, but isnt a trade for a bushmaster a little lopsided on ur end blksheep? They r only $400 guns max (sub2k).

  4. Tried to reply on last thread, but it was locked. Here is my carry question:

Is it legal to carry on premises of business that family owns if you are part of the business but your name is not on the property deed? In this case the property is owned by parents but you are a shareholder of the corporation that is on the property.

Thank you and hopefully this does not turn into a cluster***k

  5. I have a custom II that i got off a forum member. Have about 400 rds through it and i love the thing. Havent had a single issue, and ive shot everything from tula steel case, aguila, umc, to federal hst hollow points. Biggest problem is replacing the ammo i put thru it lol.

  6. got my order today. obviously haven't tried it out at the range yet but so far I am damn impressed by the quality for the price. The glass on the optic and magnifier are crystal clear and the casing on both also seem to be very good quality.

The qd mount for both of them suck though. I will be looking to replace them with a better quality qd/swing mount.

  7. I went to trpd last week to apply for more permits and was told that njsp changed the rules 2 months ago and now i need to submit a $18 money order along with my $2 permit fee every time i apply. This was never the case any other time i had apied in the past. Anyone have a similar issue?

Btw the forms they required were applicant information form, mental health form, permit application, and the yellow one for the sp.

  8. Anyone have some constructive feedback on Range 14? First time I'm hearing of it.

I don't want to join Cherry Ridge because I heard it gets mobbed on the weekends and i can't get off during the week.

The RO's there are generally nice people, it is EXTREMELY inexpensive, and you can bring whatever you want to shoot at as long as it isn't metal and you clean it up. They have a 200 yd rifle range, skeet and trap, and a pistol range. Those are the good points.

Here are the negative's as I see them: Their hours are somewhat limited. Wed & Fri 1-8, Sat & Sun 8-4. On the weekends it is often busy, but they do have alot of hutch's on the rifle range so the line generally isn't super long, and you can call ahead to put your name on the list.

The other negative I have run into there is that sometime's people get very nosy and forward. For instance last time I was there I had a complete stranger walk up to me and start asking about my ar. He wanted to know what components it had, who made it, etc. It was during a cease fire so I was ok with this but when the all clear came he hung around and then asked me to shoot it. I was not comfortable with this and it got a little awkward when I told him no. He didn't even offer to use his own ammo!

The other thing that I had happen to me twice by the RO's was questioning the legality of my guns. The first time I had them tell me my Sig Mosquito wasn't legal bc of the threaded barrel. I politely told them that they were mistaken, showed them my filled out permit from the local retailer I bought it from, and that was that. The second time was for my keltec sub2k when they told me it was not legal bc they saw it folded up on the table. That took some more explaining before they left me alone...

All in all it's not a bad place, and 9/10 of my range trips there have been trouble free. For the price you can't beat it.

That being said, I visited CJRPC recently with a friend who is a member and I will be submitting an application shortly to join there, despite the much higher cost.
