I love my M91. Love everything about it.
Mine was technically free, as my brother gave it to me years ago.
I'm pretty sure I'd have no issue hitting minute-of-man at 200 yards with it. Need to get some steel and actually try it out. -
Not that it's all that special to most of you 'enthusiasts', lol....but I finally made my first handgun purchase today!
Kind of a big deal for me, as technically this is only my second gun purchase ever.
I picked up the Glock Gen 4 G27 that I've been talking about for a while now. Now that I live in DE...I truly feel your pain. Walked into the store and walked out with it in about 20 minutes (if you include all the bs'ing).
There is zero reason for what NJ is doing to people.
My collection is now up to 5. (Rem 700, Rem 870, Marlin 60, M91 Mosin, and now the G27). I also have a bolt action Marlin 22 at my dad's house.

Can't see your state of residence in Tapatalk, but I hope it is DE

Yea....just moved out of NJ about a month an a half ago.
It's amazing not being treated like a criminal, lol. No permits, no FID, INSTANT NICS check....walked in the store and walked out with my new Gen 4 G27 15 minutes later.
-
She looks so...bored too. LOL
-
Really?
Mine took all of 5 minutes here in DE just now.
Also...proud new owner of a G27. -
That would explain a lot of hangovers that should never have been.
-
Or do like I did....move.
I finally talked myself into it. I'll be walking into the LGS this evening and walking out with a new G27. -
If you live in NJ, you must have the PP even if purchasing a gun from PA/DE. It must be transferred to a NJ FFL....which requires a pistol permit to transfer to you.
-
Steel media will also get caught in the flash hole....just not to the extent dry media does.
Out of the 120 7mm08 brass I've cleaned, I've had to pull pins from 3 or 4 cases. -
Bunch of girls! Creeped out by an insect LOL. Just to let everyone know cicadas are great to eat. Just pull the wings off and cook them up.
Screw that...tell me I have a vag.....I really don't care. Unless I'm absolutely starving, No. Way.

they can sting, but dont typically unless you f*ck with their nest... tennis racquet should do the trick.. a little topspin and away they go...
Precisely! Although I suggest a badminton racquet.

Yea, the $619 is the out the door price here. (plus the added benefit of a true "instant" NICS check).
It's very likely I'll go pick it up on Monday.
(Tying this back into the OP topic)
They had a Gen 3 G27 for $569...but the extra mag and the additional features make the extra scratch for a Gen 4 worth it IMHO. -
Liked it that much, huh?
Absolutely. Thanks again! Ironically, I'd always thought I'd prefer a full size until I had the chance to shoot the subcompact.
I finally ventured out to the local shops today, and I found a Gen 4 for $619. Fair price? (No sales tax, no NICS fee) The dealer said it comes with 3 mags as opposed to 2 with the new Gen 3.
I can't find any info on the 357 in the G27 though...although the dealer mentioned that the subcompacts all have the dual recoil spring, so he didn't seem to think it was a big deal. I do want to get the conversion....but I can't seem to find a dealer that has a G33 in stock.

I'm looking at a picking up a Glock myself.
I was at the LGS today, and personally function wise I'd certainly go for the Gen 4. Better grip texture, easier to reach mag catch (which is also reversible) and the changeable backstraps.
I'm trying to convince myself to pick up a G27 on Monday. -
If that were stainless, it would be a perfect companion to my 700 7mm-08!
-
The cheap stuff will jam it.
Well then....it should stop jamming now! Lol.
Mine usually eats just about anything. /shrugs

Lol....

Most are very scared of my doggies, they think they are wolves
Absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful Huskies. I had one growing up.....best dog ever.
This *used* to be my 75lb Standard named Gunther....but I lost him in the separation.

Use some perspective. NJ2AS appears to be doing the groundwork for building a class for both situations. They have been gathering data on township compliance for quite some time, the fact that they have also been attempting to gain compliance without going to court is irrelevant. For osme reason people seem to forget that when they **** and moan. Follow their existing advice and document, document, document.
Precisely....gather all their horses**t and bury them with it in court.
-
And they call us "paranoid".
-
How much did that set you back lowslow?
Trigger's terrible on mine. -
I think it's *starting* to get back to normal.
The sooner the panic buying stops....the sooner it *will* return to normal.
I was in WV 2 weeks ago.......only 22LR ammo to be found was $10 for a box of 50. Absolute insanity. The sooner people refuse to pay panic prices...the better.
-
Since mine's the Finnish M91....i'd be able to poke holes in the target with the bayonet if I had one, lol. Damn thing is LONG.
-
You should be getting a break buying an 8 pounder.
At this point...I don't think there is such a thing as "more than you need".
I'm up to 8 myself individually. 4xIMR4350, 3xVarget, 1xIMR4064
Finally did it....my first handgun purchase
