First of all, if it's the brush part that's stuck, you shouldn't try to back it out....continue pushing it through.

I love my Gen 4 27 and have not had a single issue with it thus far. I estimate 500 rounds through it so far.

I heard that ruger stopped making "blued" red hawks, now they only come in stainless, would that make it more valuable in the years to come?
Ruger ever made a blued Redhawk?
I've only ever seen them in SS.

Very interesting question. I haven't the foggiest.
I never imagined a JM stamped Marlin 1894 would be going for over $1k. -
A .357 bolt?
Interesting....
Either a low power or a fixed power carbine scope would probably be best. -
Yep...and you better have cash.....

Salomons is awesome....

Normal? No.
Standard Operating Procedure for PRNJ.
Yes.
Cheyenne is like that. Never had anything but good experiences from them...

Some of those aren't small quantities....
I understand the reasoning....but say I'm only looking for one of those calibers. Why would I buy the others just to get the one lot? -
Just checked it out...
It's probably because you're trying to sell the entire lot. That's a lot of calibers.
Maybe try breaking them up? -
Howz their prices though?
Completely missed this question.
Very reasonable.
$389 for 1k of Federal 40S&W

Gotta love globalization.

This is the same woman who told me to pound sand after her dead trees squashed my fence in the storm.
Not to change the subject, but that's the NJ law. Doesn't matter where the tree came from....once it's on your property, it becomes your problem. Sucks...but that's the way it's written.

It's about time they start fighting back....

Just....wow.
I will admit, pissing in an urban setting is rather nasty.....but in a field in the sticks?
Some of you need to remove the sticks from your anuses. -
It would have scared the blank out of me as well. I almost bumped into a big guy like in Howards picture last week walking the dogs around dusk he was walking across my neighbors yard and I was paying attention to my dogs. Next thing I knew I saw something out of the corner of my eye and turned to look. I would swear he was 5 ft from me just standing there watching me walk(reality is he must have been about 20 ft but at the time it seemed closer). I must admit I did just what your not supposed to do I almost started running with the dogs till I was a good 50 yards away... We must have been upwind as well because my 2 dogs never even smelled him till I stopped and turned around to watch him head along...

If you look close at the hunter's pants (or whatever that material belongs to) after the bear gets up, you can see that he's shaking like a leaf.
I saw that too, and yes he was.
That camera must have a good stabilization feature, lol.

Congrats man! I've always loved Rugers myself. Just about every one I've dealt with has been an excellent shooter.

Bailed with another bear at the bottom of the tree? Not worth the broken legs. and possible mauling afterwards. LOL
I didn't say I would have thought about it! LOL
-
Holy shit!
I probably woulda bailed, lol.
But once it was that close, how could you not try to pet it?? -
Someone was selling a Model 61 here on the forums the other day....

Yeah and no.
In DE you can transport the firearm openly in the car if you don't have a permit. Must be plainly visible from outside.
In PA you need a permit from any US state to carry it in the passenger compartment. Otherwise you need to lock it in the trunk unloaded just like NJ.
As a pedestrian you can carry openly in both DE and PA, except for the cities listed. (in PA it is any city of first class but Phila is the only one right now).

Ahh...thanks.
Then why are they offering classes here?
I'm stuck (no pun intended)

I'm assuming you started breech to muzzle?
I don't know anything about Garands...can you remove the bolt?
If so, it seems like a hammer and dowel should be able to do the job from the breech.
It may take some time, persuasion and maybe more than one dowel, but I can't imagine you couldn't force it through.
