I have read conflicting things about this ammo, this is info I found on another site

"On the chart number 2 FMJ lead core is corrosive. Number 10 FMJ lead core is non-corrosive.

    http://arsenal-bg.co...ice/7,62x39.htm

Corrosive has a steel case, non-corrosive has a bi-metal case.

Sometimes (but not always) green sealant indicates non-corrosive and red sealant is corrosive. There is also purple sealant and some sort of orange sealant just to add confusion.

Since it says so on the chart I would think it might say non-corrosive on the tin or the wooden case that holds two tins. Otherwise I would think it might be corrosive."

  2. I am not a legal rep, but I have seen NY's still buying 10 round mags like crazy at gun shows and the places around here with 10 round mags. most places wont sell firemarms or ammo to ny's tho. I was @ wind gap show this weekend alot of ny plates but alot of sad faces doing walk of shame back to their cars, since vendors are afraid to sell cause not framiliar with the new laws.

  3. http://www.governor....gun-reforms-faq

Q: How many rounds can I put in my magazine today?

A: Ten. Starting on April 15, 2013, you are limited to putting in seven rounds, unless you are at an incorporated firing range or competition recognized by the National Rifle Association or International Handgun Metallic Silhouette Association, in which case the limit is ten.

Please note: This website is informational only and does not constitute legal advice. (LOL)

better to go to NY gun forums and ask

  4. Water and simple green concentrate, run it on the hot on the longer cycle 5-6 times and 90% of it is off.

I then take it out put in the the parts washer, run fresh water over it all scrub a bit with a brush dry and oil.

It cuts the process in half for the internals.

What's the ratio? I saw a video and people commented there was to much water.

  5. the 1776 zippo is selling on ebay for $169 and thats a used one

the lackland AFB one is vietnam era and probably worth at most $50 maybe could get more depending on the collector

the NJSP one is 1972 era and probably worth up to $100 to a police memorabilia collector

the ronsons are probably worth up to 35.00

    without knowing model #

    zippos are much more collectable

also if lighter are gold filled or silver can add more to value

  6. Lighters can become very valuable & collectable, especially since you have the boxs and papers that came with some. I'm guessing some of them could be worth nice $

There are plenty of lighter value & collecting sites

I picked up a cigar box for $5 full of nic nacks @ a garge sale this summer and it had 2 lighters, a old watch w/out band and a bunch of other junk and whatever.Turns out the 2 lighters gold filled which were beat up I sold for 75.00 and the watch sold for $100

there also was some 925 silver jewlery scrap in there. If the lighters were in better condition I probably would have gotten a little more.

  7. Picked this beauty up @ the Wind Gap Pa gun show this weekend.
Guy had about 20 of these pretty ones hiding under his table. Ones on the rack and table were nothing to get excited about. After digging thru the boxs I found this one, was hard to choose cause the other ones were in great condition too.  the bore was shiny as a mirror and the rest was just as nice. #'s match and looks unfired. Still alot of grease on and in it, so I got some cleaning to do. I hate that crap.
Now my Chinese 56 from Sarco has a mate.
