I called my local police department about handgun purchaser permits. I asked if i had to re-fill out the entire packet or just the main purchaser page. Mind you i already have a NJ FID Card. Seems like a pretty straight forward question right? I was first asked "Well how many guns do you have?" by the Officer over the phone; then after avoiding the question and asking my question again, the officers said yes to only the purchaser page that i had to fill out. So going on what I was told, I filled out the Purchaser page and went into my local police department and an "administrative assistant" to the Officer handling the firearm department refused my paper work and told me i had to fill out the entire packet again! This includes my Mental Health Records, Previous addresses, and all! Is this the standard policy? This will be my first time submitting paperwork for the Handgun Permits separate from the original packet. I want to make sure I am not in the wrong before I call up and try to straighten out the truth with the Officer who handles the Firearms packet. I will obviously be EXTREMELY Civil and Courteous as I do not want to be denied! lol

This is madness! When are they going to stop the assault on LEGAL gun owners and make harsher penalties for ILLEGAL gun users?! I'm tired of feeling like the enemy. It is beyond ridiculous how much this government (state and federal) vilify legal gun owners. Before these politicians enact laws, they should do a little research and make INFORMED decisions and not just go along party lines! Ignorance is no excuse for bad laws. Education is the key not revocation!!! P.S. These Politicians must also remember that they are Public SERVANTS and need to fear the people; not the people fear their government!!!!! Rant ended.

Looks like a great gun. I like that it has the phosphate coated internals. Anyone handle this gun yet? If so let me know what you think.

Hello All, Just joined the forum after peeking in on it from time to time. Looking forward to interacting with like minded individuals on here. Coming from a Gun Friendly State (Nevada) and moving back to NJ (originally from Clifton), i work in NYC and live around a lot of Anti 2nd Amendment people in Hasbrouck Heights, it gets fustrating to say the least. Looking forward to absorbing some wisdom and having spirted conversations with you guys.
