Buy in PA. No permit needed. It's the same as buying a pellet pistol. Because of that when you come back behind the iron curtain, as long as you have FPID card, your good. As far as learning ask on the forum. Some good guys on here that have a few years under their belts.Airsoft here as well I haven't played in a while I also like the civil war I want a repo or actual cap and ball from the civil war but handgun permit is a pain to get and never shot black powder so I would need some training so I don't get hurt

There is a few pizza places close by. Also Dominoes is in the area and they deliver!I'm going to call Johnnys tomorrow and see if they'd be willing to deliver 100 hotdogs. I'm sure they will decline but I'm curious to see. If not, I agree with you Damjan, pizza is easy and yummy.

References and word of mouth are key. Any reputable company should be happy to give them. I will check with my clients first but they are normally happy to have somebody contact them.
Most references are from recent jobs and that is fine. Ask for a reference from older jobs. I would be more concerned with how their work holds up over the years. I have heard way to many contractors say "As long as it looks good until the check clears"
In my profession I see a lot of trade work from the start of a project to years after completion. Some of the things I have seen contractors do is criminal.
A great deal is not always a bad thing. Try to figure out why the difference in price. Is one company using better materials, more cement, etc. Sometimes in the long run the cheaper price isn't always the best. As you said watch out for "extra" charges. Any contractor from the area should know full well what kind of conditions are present at your area. There is always exceptions but those costs should full well be disclosed before hand.

They have had a decent supply lately. $70 for a case (250 shells)I haven't been to one of these events since like march. I'd love to come by. I have no plans for that day either, my only problem is I have no shells. Anyone know if cabellas has the bulk packs in stock and how much they're going for? Maybe I'll take a ride mid week.

I will throw this idea out there. I live 15 minutes from the trap range. If everybody is serious we could have an "after picnic" at my place. This month is no good for me as I just destroyed my yard but the second half of next month would work or fall time. We do it in August the pool will be open. Might as well bring the women and children and go all out. Any thoughts?

No pistols. Long arms only:(Can you only shoot .22 rifles or can you shoot .22 hand guns?

They do make home defense rounds for 9mm that is suppose to cut down on penetration although I have no experience using them.
Personally I would lean towards the shotgun. For starters aim is less of an issue. More than likely after 1 shot the intruder is going to retreat. Identifying and engaging an intruder in the dark will probably happen in 12' or less. If using bird shot maybe shot one doesn't drop somebody but shot 2,3 or 4 will. Also consider your follow up shot. Center of mass becomes less critical with a shotgun. Considering muzzle rise and being left or right of center mass you could blindly rip off 4-5 shots and still easily be hitting in a lethal area. One other thing to consider is a shotgun offers an extension of your hands. But of the gun or barrel end. Similar to a Bo in martial arts. Most shotguns are pretty easy to feed extra shells into as time permits.
I have seen you on the shotgun and seen how comfortable you are with one so I see no issue there. Also as you said that's your comfort zone.
One other round to consider is the .223. From some of the reports I have seen after hitting one layer of Sheetrock they loose power quick.
As for storage there are home defense brackets that you can mount to a wall that are lockable. Takes up a lot less room than a safe and allows easy access. I think Mosseberg even makes one.

Nothing wrong with that. At least it's not a Benelli.Just a Remington 870

No Cicada S'mores?

+1 Same goes for window tint. I will gladly pay that ticket over what I was originally stopped for.The no front tag can also be used as a downgrade summons. If you stop a guy for speeding or careless. Instead of a moving violation het gets that if its applicable

Good deal. I was worried about the safety of your passengers. Lol. I kid. See you then manLol I won't be taking my car if I'm binging my thrower

Must be talking about a hand thrower right. I can't see putting a thrower in that car and having room left for shells.I can bring my thrower as well. Ill probably have a plus 1 or 2

Hitting ammo in the grass is no different than hitting rocks. Either one is going to be hauling ass out of the chute. Even if the prime was hit with a blade and it was set off because it is not contained in a restricted space it will have very little power.
I wouldn't mind finding some ammo laying around. I guy I know is a landlord. His tenant moved out and left behind a 5 gallon bucket full of loose live rounds. Instead of calling me to take it off his hands he called the police to remove the bucket. Now that is sad.

Print taker does not have to be certified. Have somebody practice a few and then ink that card up.
