I wanted a new gun and she wanted one. Just worked out perfect.Damn, I looked at this thread hoping for ideas on a shoestring budget, considering my mom is not particularly gun-friendly, I think an M&P is out of the question haha.
She does tolerate my guns in the house though, so there's that.

Mother's Day is right around the corner. What are you getting the wife, mom, grandma? Last year I bought my wife a new handgun. A M&P 9. Said it was the best Mother's Day gift ever. Now she has her own gun to protect her family.

1. Schrader valve on AC system was broken.
2. AC was over charged. No idea how though, it was never recharged.
3. Resister for fan was fried.
$286 later, less then I thought.

I have been reading online about the dryer bag breaking open and having to replace the entire system. WTF.

Tony, I don't hear anything. It might be because the radiator fans are pumping at high speed though.see if the ac clutch on the compressor engages/disengages when you turn it on (you'll hear it clicking on/off)

It blows at speeds 2, 3, and 4 with the proper amount of force coming out. Just not cold.

The new uppers don't come with the heavy buffers anymore so I figured the normal one works fine. Thanks.

My wife has a 2010 ford escape and the AC stopped working. Fan position 1 nothing comes out. Position 2,3,4 it blows but not cold. Radiator fans running at high speed as soon as the ac is turned on even on a cold start.
Anyone have a clue as to what might be wrong? Hoping I can fix it myself but if not, Any good mechanics in the ocean county area?

If the BAR12 comes instock in the next month or so, I will order that one otherwise I am going to go with the MOE version. Unless I find a good deal on a BCM or DD. Good to hear standard weight buffer is working in it. Thanks.

And that's why I carry a shield or snubby revolver. I am more concerned with 0-10 yards, not 25 yards. You should be able to hit your target at 10 yards without really aiming.

You will notice at 25 yardsPlus the size of the slide isn't that much shorter than the full size to affect your velocity/sight radius to the point that you'll really notice right?

I have both the shield and 9c. Both are great guns. The shield is a little smaller and easier to conceal, but you are losing 4 rounds. The shield is really nice if you are on the smaller side. If you have a larger frame or wear your clothes a little big, get the 9c. If you decide to sell the sp101, I might be interested.

Thinking the lightweight with dynacomp and moe furniture is the way I an going to go. Going to check out BCMs website and see what they are offering.
What buffer are you guys running in your mid length systems?

I will be replacing my 2 burner weber grill very soon. It's about 13 years old. Nothing really wrong with it, just not big enough anymore. Probably picking up the 3 burner genesis in black or espresso. Do any stores ever put them on sale? Should I wait for Memorial Day or just go buy one now?
