  1. You can buy em but cant have em in the state....kinda pointless unless you have another residence in a free state

No one asked about the "legality" of bringing them back into the state.  We all know that is 100% illegal (well..  in case the OP is brand new to guns and DOESN'T know - bringing them back into the state is 100% illegal).  He simply asked IF you could buy them elsewhere.  The answer seems to be a pretty resounding yes.  Its really up to the person to keep themselves legal here.

  2. Don't really need it, just a good price, free shipping, why not?  I found over the years when it comes to ammo, you just have to keep picking it up here and there.

See..  this is what i keep saying..  and some people think I have a problem...

  3. I think the OP was referring to Rem Golden Saber 9mm for the rebate.  Regular 9mm is available tons of places for a decent price.

I bought some at Natchez.  Its not as cheap as the 40 or 45 or 357, but it works out to $7.75/box delivered after rebate (or so)

But its cheap for HP ammo..   right around $0.30/rd (ish)

Need to get it today to qualify for the rebate.

  4. No.  I have holsters for a whole 2 of my handguns, and I have never used either one of them because, well, we can't carry here and i never really go anywhere that you would be able to carry them.  I also don't have more than one handgun I would even consider carrying if we were magically allowed to carry here, so I would have to get a new one.

  5. Luckily, my wife is even less likely to open the door for anyone than I am.  If I am not expecting company, I do not answer the door, period.  She would never let someone in, and would be likely to call the cops and grab her gun in the meantime.

Conversely, these people could have been going around to see who was home and who wasnt.  (i know, the cynic in me)..

  6. I was going to ask the same question.  I have had mine for over a year and absolutely nothing has happened to it yet, and the trigger bar spring looks perfectly fine.  I would say that the percentage of VP9's out there compared to the number of broken trigger bar springs is fairly low, considering HK tested the crap out of this gun....
