Probably is going to be recyclable.

I see MAJOR issues with this tho...

Polymer... in a hot chamber? good luck. especially at "battle" temps.

Not to mention it's probably gonna cost a lot of money...

Apparently the chamber doesnt reach those higher temps with the polymer.

    From the article:

"Brass is a conductor of heat, and our composite case is an insulator," Hogan said. "Brass conducts the heat during the ballistic event; the brass superheats and then transfers that heat to the chamber of the weapon, whereas polymer insulates the chamber from that heat."

Excessive heat buildup can cause ammo to cook off or explode in the weapon, a problem True Velocity's case technology has licked, he said.

"Anecdotally, we have run cook-off tests through some of the belt-fed platforms and, in order to get the gun even hot enough to be in a position where you could even have a cook off, we have to run brass ammo through a gun to get it hot enough where you can really test our ability to withstand cook-offs," Hogan said.

    gun shops open tomorrow 8am

I'm shocked in regards to these reversals.

Even the Dem Governors who are temporarily pro-2A from the gate, something isnt right.

I think they would seize any opportunity to deny people their 2A rights.

Maybe the guidance from Bloomberg is that the court challenges could result in more freedom?

  3. Open the gun shops, GOP legislator says. We have the right to defend ourselves in this scary time.

Assemblyman Edward Thomson, R-Monmouth, is the Republican whip and represents the 30th Legislative District.

New Jersey is the only state bold enough to use a pandemic to stand in the way of the Second Amendment. No matter the issue, the fact is that constitutional rights should never be infringed.

On March 26, the same day Murphy expanded essential businesses, two lawsuits were filed in federal court to prove that Murphy has violated his oath to defend the Constitution and made it impossible to purchase a gun in New Jersey. The last thing our governor and attorney general need to defend are two more lawsuits while we face the current health crisis.

This is about whether you think the government should be able to tell you your rights don’t matter.

There is a reason the Bill of Rights was added to the Constitution. What sets us apart as Americans is that in our society, no matter what pressures exist in the world – even the pandemic we face today – our rights will be upheld.

Since the pandemic, gun stores have seen more business than they ever could have expected. That is much needed economic activity, keeping businesses running and workers employed from the store to the warehouse to the factory. It is a wake-up call that first-time gun buyers don’t have an opposition to guns because they understand safety is their personal responsibility.

For New Jersey to stand in the way of that is unconscionable, unethical, and dishonorable. We swore an oath, all elected officials swore an oath, but Murphy’s actions have betrayed his words.

  4. What a complete goof of a humanbeing in terms of his mannerisms and presentation.

There has to be some kind of lawful recourse when a public servant openly, proudly admits to violating the constitution.

And this mantra of his: "I havent received one complaint".

People dont complain because they realize that our public servants have become public masters.

Just for the sake of proving a point, people have to start voicing their disapproval of these blatantly unlawful actions.

  5. So I have this Aimpoint PRO red dot - 12841

I'm clicking thru the brightness settings, and the last 2 settings, the brightest ones, cause a red blotch to pop up.

You can see it on the second to last setting but on the last setting it looks like the optic had its period.

So youre looking at a red dot and a finger nail sized red patch.

    WTF???

I believe that he is relatively newly elected and he appears to be a realist. There was a piece on the news last night that said that he was concerned about all the first time firearm buyers that crises like the covid-19 bring out. To that end, he is partnering with the NRA and sponsoring an on-line firearms safety course. It is tonight (3/25) and it is free. It is accessed through the sheriff's facebook page...

Here's an elected official that is concerned about keeping the public safe - not by the tyrannical usurping of our 2A rights, but by actually doing something positive.

    Adios,

    Pizza Bob

Damn, I thought (hoping) you were announcing that he was going to start issuing carry permits to NJ residents.

who cares what he had to say. what's the status of the lawsuits? prelim injunction? anything? it's the only language these ppl speak unfortunately

Fair point but I think its important to acknowledge the pattern.

With regards to NJ's Red Coat confiscation bill, the presiding judge said that its blatantly unconstitutional.

When they were crafting the unlawful order, they did so knowing that it violated the constitution (discovered during the hearings).

Here Grewal is again blatantly lying...

    Murphy literally skirts the question.

Ive never heard this guy speak before.  This is literally the first time Ive ever seen him.

He looks completely lost.  Deer in the headlights.  Unable to answer or justify a simple question/position.

He immediately turns to Grewal to speak for him...

    And what does Grewal do?

He blatantly lies: "every other Executive order... NONE of those".

These are just the ones that I know of, I would imagine that there are more, especially in the Red states.

Governors from Illinois and Connecticut have acknowledged that the Second Amendment is not only "essential", its the law of the land which people like him have sworn to uphold...

    https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2020/03/21/illinois-governor-lists-gun-stores-as-essential-exempts-them-from-forced-shutdown/

    https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2020/03/23/connecticut-governor-lists-gun-stores-as-essential-exempts-from-shut-down/

Wolf also had to tuck tail:

    https://www.bizjournals.com/philadelphia/news/2020/03/25/coronavirus-news-wolf-allows-gun-shops-to-reopen.html

Grewal's justification or "defense" is literally "Tommy gets to do it!".

At which point the parent would reply, "just because Tommy is doing it, doesnt make it right (legal, lawful or moral)".

Poor Tommy isnt even doing it...

Having less tools on hand is a mistake.  A dangerous mistake.  A stupid mistake.  We can argue calibers and rifle/shotgun/pistol options but there isn't a trainer today that says what you preach.   Not one.

From now on, you will refer to me as Master.

You will reply to me with either yes Master or no Master.

    The hell with everybody else.

Now listen, forget the goddam lights.

As soon as you know that someone has entered your home, you calmly pick up the remote for the main breaker and kill the power to the entire house.

Next, you slip on your NV goggles and grab your gear.

As you silently creep up behind the intruder, just before initiating Operation Involuntary Isolation, you whisper into his ear:

    "welcome home".
