Where in NH? I've been trying to move there for a few years now. Tough to leave my job though.
I was in the SW part of the state. Little town called Lempster, population right around 1000. I wasn't exaggerating, I really did shoot in the back yard up there. We'll most likely end up in PA in the next few years though.

Ha, No! That is a fish and game club on a lake in PA where my Fiance's parents have a cabin. That is the range. Although, a few years ago when I lived in NH, this could've been my back yard. GOD I miss NH...

My Boy taking out a chainsaw wielding Zombie...
He also got this pic just a I fired. Pretty cool with the smoke coming out we thought.

Nice choice with the streamlight. I just got the 600 lumen light-only version. It's almost too bright to use in a dark setting. I might swap it for that one which has a laser and lower output.
Yeah, the last lights I used were M6s. I really like the TLR-2s. They're just the right amount of Lumens IMO.

Congrats on the Purchase, I really like the colored frame too - I didn't know they were making the G35 in frame colors.
I have a G27, a G23, a G22 and 2 G35s. I shoot the G35 much better than the others.
One of my G35s is completely stock, the other...
Now that looks good. What sight is that?

I owned the 22 and 27 years ago, so a comparison now would probably not be too accurate... I can tell you that I do marginally better with the 35 than the 21. I think it's a combination of the slimmer grip, lesser recoil, and lighter trigger. I'm sure the longer barrel and sight plane don't hurt either though.
As far as grouping between the two, I couldn't tell you. I was shooting steel plates. I was hitting 9 of 10 with the 35 and 7-8 with the 21. BUT, when the five plates went down, I would move on to smaller hanging targets. Those I hit considerably more with the 35.
Does that help at all? LOL!

Looks pretty......
I agree with the fellas... Please fill in the lettering on the slide and then post new updated pics!
I actually asked a guy who does Cerakoting about doing the writing on the slide. He said it was too much masking... I would do it if I could make it more permanent than using crayon etc. I agree that it would look good though.

I chose the G35 simply because I've never had one. I've had 22 in the past, as well as a 27. I use the 21 for HD, so the 35 is more of a toy. I like the 35 more than the 21 though, so they may switch places...
I probably will end up putting a nice set of night sights on the 35 either way. I have Mepro's on the 21, but I like the look of the HD's. We'll see I guess.

Hey, thanks. I did have a list of mods, but after shooting it, I really think I'll just leave it alone. I really like it as is. I don't know... Decisions, decisions...
Any mod suggestions?

Thanks everyone. That crappy cell phone pic doesn't do the 19 any justice... I'll tell you what though, she shot this for the first time this past weekend. Not only did she do really well, shes also really into it! FINALLY something we can do and talk about without one of us wanting to pull our hair out...

What's he wondering?
I'm betting he's wondering where all the mountain lions went!

We got my Fiancé a G19. Went with the 19 because it comes with 15 round mags. If we lived in America, we would've gone with a G17 though...
Although, she shoots my Gen4 G21 just fine too.

No reason to settle. You can find what you want by searching on-line. Of course you have to pay for shipping and transfer fees...

U can give me the 30 and ill tape a toilet paper tube with plastic rap on both ends and a red dot from a sharpie... probably would work better
Literally laughed out loud on that one!

NICS faxed april 8th, recieved call today (19th) with approval.
Well, This gives me hope. I did mine on the 9th. I went into the LGS last night and they said they were getting them back from the 5th...
Just for comparison, I was up in NH this past weekend visiting my folks. My Father went to the LGS there and bought a pistol. They were very apologetic that the NICS checks were taking longer than usual that day. 40 minutes...

Still have .45. Just scored three boxes. They have Remington or American Eagle. First time I've had a choice...
Thanks for the heads up!

Paterson range is not far from Mahwah. Indoors. I think handguns only, no magnum.
I'm going to see this one some day: http://www.gunface.org 50 Park LN, Monsey, NY 10952
I've heard of the Paterson range. I'll probably check it out, as I work from Patterson anyway. I don't think you want to go to NY with a handgun... I haven't checked into it yet, but have been told that that's a big no no!

Never mind, I sent it back and got a TLR-2

They've always gotten them to me in a month, even after Sandy Hook. Officer Horn stays on top of it.
No, they've been nothing but kind and helpful so far. Being from NH and hearing all of the horror stories about NJ gun permits I was wondering what kind of reaction I would receive from them.
I did notice that they were a touch more willing to offer extra help to my fiance regarding how to properly fill out the paperwork though!

Stay on top of MPD. I hadn't heard back regarding purchase permits so stopped in. They had been issued about a month ago but never called me. From the time I applied until the issue date was about 2 1/2 weeks.
Thanks for that. They told me that it would take three weeks. I know that they got letters to both of my references in less than a week. This gives me high hopes!
I'll give it the full three weeks before I pester them.

I ALMOST bought one of these when they were first out. I'm surprised they're NJ legal seeing how they're all foldy and such...
I have a NIB Mini 30 on the way that I only bought because it was a good deal. Maybe I'll put it up for trade... One of these is more my style. I'd forgotten about them until I saw this thread!
Oh, and congrats!
