    Kimbers are the Beats headphones of the gun world.

     

    That made me laugh.

     

    After thinking about it more, i'm not sure I would want to carry a single action pistol. Not sure how comfortable I would be with the hammer cocked. So that removes the SigP238 and Colt New Agent.

    People who hate Kimbers have never owned them.  Love mine.  Most kimber haters 1911 of choice is a rock island.  Never fired the 3" and probably wouldn't carry a 1911 for cc for many other reasons.  I would highly recommend holstering and firing a sub compact 191 before choosing it as your cc weapon of choice.   But hey, do you. 

     

    Thanks for all the input guys... I plan on shooting a few different guns prior to buying in July.

     

    Didn't know there was this much hate for Kimber haha.

     

    Anyone have suggestions for a CC pistol for under 1300?

    Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the Kimber Ultra Raptor II. My parents have moved down to VA and my sister is out in PA, so I was thinking about getting my CC and picking one of these guys up? I've read some bad reviews of 3" 1911's.
