  1. The build of KODI is not the issue, it is the streaming sources. Sometimes I am presented with 100 links for a given show and have to manually try them one by one to find one that is actually rocking at the moment. It is hardly a plug and play solution but works for those that don't mind the hassles.

I disagree. I've sold them to older people (in their 60s and 70s) and haven't had complaints about use. Once you get the hang of what's supposed to happen, there aren't really many issues that arise.

Part of that is also the load out of kodi. Different add ons go in and out of favor, but some are generally more stable than others.

  2. Not really in need of anything at the moment, but wanted to relay my experience in having led a bunch of these in the past:

Optimally you want 6-8 people whose orders will fill up the 48# box.

While fronting money isn't always ideal, I've never had a problem with people on this forum not paying me back - post order.

Keep in mind that since it is a hazmat shipment, it needs to be signed for by an adult - this proved to be a problem for me several times.

    Just my 2c

  3. I also booked a car at SFO for this weekend through Priceline, but when I went back to modify my reservation yesterday, prices were much higher so I left my original reservation in tact.

As an aside, I found that Silvercar was actually cheaper than most of the major chains for me with some discount codes, but in my case I'm not returning the car to SFO so I didn't go with them.  Just a reminder to check their prices.

  4. I want to upgrade my ar with the bcm kmr hand guard. my upper bcm 16" mid length has the standard A2 front sight post which i want to do away with. I was going to get a low profile gas block but i was thinking to just cut off the site post and keep the lower portion of it to be used as the gas block what do you think of that idea.

I've done that before.  Works fine, if you have a bench grinder you can even get the gas block really smooth and hit it with some paint.  Looks like a factory finish.

  5.  As long as the barrel is over 16" it only needs to be pinned.

How do you define pinned?  It has to be permanently attached.  NJ never defined what's permanent, but most people follow what the federal guidelines laid out to make barrels < 16" compliant with federal NFA restrictions.

  6. I've had the upper receiver for a while now but the muzzle brake has

to be welded in order to proceed with the lower. I've looked at the

process countless times again and i know it's not that hard, given one

has the tools which i do not as i lack a welding device.

Where in north jersey (sussex county) can you get your muzzle brake

welded for a decent price ? Or rent a welding device ?

Pretty simple to do yourself, if you have the right tools.  Otherwise, most stores in the area will charge ~$50 to do it.

  7. Check on Brianenos

Perusing the site, it looks like :

    45 is approx. $50 per 1k, shipped

    9mm is approx. $40 per 1k, shipped

    223 is approx. $55 per 1k, shipped.

    308 is approx. $175 per 1k, shipped

9mm is a bit on the high side.  Typically 2-3c per cleaned and shipped.  Others are more/less in line for cleaned brass.

  8. RTSP in Randolph has a ton of them. Spikes, Stag, Aero Precision, Mag Tactical, Noveske. They also have Core-15's on the way.

When did this happen? Granted I haven't been there in 1.5 months, so this must be a relatively new development.

  9. The HF mig welders are good enough for small projects around the house as well as some gunsmithing.  I've used mine to weld floorplates into a Jeep and pin muzzle brakes on ARs.

MIG is cheaper to get into than TIG.

  10. I've been slowly switching all of my AR mags to hexmag.  I had 1 issue so far and they sent me a new mag body the next day.

I like them for the fact that I can take them apart to clean them, replace the spring, etc.
