Nice DT
-
Just watched it from the front door, thanx for the heads up
-
I've had it for around 19 years, not quite sure who made it and there are no markings to help remind me
I think it's a Caldwell, similar to this

I am trying to install a ace skeleton stock on a s+w 15. I ordered the parts from brownells, they sent the stock and a A1 A2 kit. the new buffer tube has a lip on it, and no grove in the bottom of the tube also the threaded end of the tube is not long enough. It won't hold the buffer tube pin. WTF am i doing wrong
Hard to tell
You don't need the receiver plate, the lack of a groove isn't an issue

Maybe he meant not as obstructive as ours, oh, I read that one yep he meant too lenientYou have a member on this board who recently said PA gun laws are "too lenient"em

Wait.
So this d*ckhead is saying that the 2nd could read:
A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear A FAMILY CREST shall not be infringed.
GTFO...
Yep
Toads gif shows my reaction when I read it

Found this in the comment section of a news article, first time I've read this one ;
" The founders set to produce the countries founding documents. The country was full of noble earls and dukes and baronets and people that held noble titles. The titles were denied but these men of noble appointment by other countries were granted the right to bear their Arms. However, the Arms were not guns, because guns and swords were so common that it was not the issue of the day like today. Guns and swords were a natural part of these settlers life. The Arms mention in the founding documents were the noble person(Shield) or "Coat of Arms" who held an appointment in another country's or had be knighted by the king or Queen of another country. Americans just twisted it into a local right to bear a fire arm when no written law ever founded the personal possession of weapons because it was such common fixtures back then. "
Commenter claimed to be progun but felt that the truth must be shared

^ There are times when it's standing room only and people are waiting 15-30 minutes for a lane

So much common sense, my head might explode

Where is all the two-ply toilet paper? When did single-ply become environmentally friendly and politically correct?
I eat meat. Where is my damn two-ply???
They're doing away with it so that we can all use baby wipes, two stage ass wiping for everyone
Meat eating save's the planet from all of the cow flatulence that contributes to "global warming", I do my part

Nothing wrong with strong door's , there is something wrong with suggesting that we be prisoners in our own homes during the day.See, I think the main problem behind this can be like most of the times people used to forget about the main things such a strong doors, door bolts. Also making sure all windows and doors are locked during the day when you are home. Plus to think about some place or an emergancy place from where you can call the police if you are in trouble. And lastly the most important time i.e in the night time you can add outdoor security cameras.
I hope my suggestion would help you all at least a bit.

Hit the range this afternoon, at one point the building shook
Guy at the end of the line ( Ken, an MCRPC member ) is firing an S&W 460 XVR, holy crap
Except for the insane flash and booming concussion in the booth the gun was amazingly mild to shoot, largest handgun I'd shot prior was a 629 and really didn't enjoy it
My little .45acp surrounded by his .450 and .460 Magnum

Maybe Buckshot is members only at Shore Shot, or they have a new policy. I have shot buck there many times.
Can't recall ever seeing buckshot there, few weeks back some tool was shooting birdshot before I got there, I ended up at the port he had been at. When the RO saw me changing the cardboard he checked what I had ( no shotguns ) then shook his head, apparently whoever was there before him missed it

.223 frangibles only, they have them but they're expensive
12g slugs only
You're correct on the casings

As far as Streamlight, I have had nothing but bad luck with their products and will not buy them or recommend them to anyone.
Never carried one but found a Stinger kit on a table at a yard sale 13 years ago, paid $50 for it and finally had to replace the battery ( $18 ) this past Dec., makes for a great house light, imo.

Probably won't go over to well but CTD is pretty much the least expensive place to grab Buckmark mags
-
Aren't we hinting to forum roamers our significant others ability to defend our homes with this thread???
Is that a bad thing ?

Who gave the lecture ?
I was there yesterday, young guy named Dan stated basically the same thing ( NJ considers a loaded mag in the bag with the gun as a loaded gun )
They state similar in their Range Safety Rules
2)All firearms must be unloaded and cased in and out of the range. All loading and unloading will be conducted while in the shooting port with the firearm points down range safely.
" No loaded magazines or clips outside of the range."

Went down yesterday, about a 35 min. trip for me
Nice place, looks like a country club
Watched the video, got the lecture and a little card to prove it for the next time, and got on the line
Only 2 other shooters there, RO spent most of the time with them, after they left he spent a few minutes with us then was gone, came back after 10 mins. or so with 4 other guys in tow
Booths are narrow, fitting 2 full grown men is tight ( only happens when giving instruction )
Not accustomed to bullet traps, seeing sparks behind the target kind of freaked me out the first couple of rounds
Ribbed mat on table is uncomfortable if you go down on your elbows for rifle shooting ( I keep a piece of foam in my bag so not an issue for me )
First line of registers when you walk thru the door was blowing hot air, registers over shooting booths blowing cold ( been a while since I've been in a cleanroom type environment )
After shooting, stowed the firearms in the trunk ( wish someone would have the forethought to add a locker room to the plans when building an in door range ) and went in to check out the archery range. Haven't been to one in a quarter of a century and can't even remember what A&M looked like but was impressed with what they have going on there
All in all a pleasant experience

Got an old toaster oven ?
I got an extra year out of a 9800 GT that exhibited the same symptoms, by baking it at 300F for 8 minutes
