Kinda funny that you bring this up, yesterday I was in Avon and had the displeasure of being behind a vehicle that had a " Ban the bear hunt " sticker along with a " Right to arm bears " sticker and a " Ban assault weapons " sticker for good measure
Yeah guys, just give up now because that's the best way to get more people on board with the cause.

Not sure why you are wasting your time.People have ingrained beliefs and your 5 min-ed-session isn't going to change that. It is called mass programing...On Hanity last night they had 7 libs and 7 conserves students from top universities. The libs out talked the consrv kids by quite a margin. What did the say? The same thing that Nancy Pilocy and other grown-up libs say. It was like a recoring. -To a "T". While gun control wasn't talked about, all the usual propaganda about big-gov't, big gov-programs, gov't health care, police keep us safe, high taxes are ok, social programs, etc was spouted as if the 7 colledge age libs were rofessional talking heads. While their reasoning made (no) sense, I was impressed how they articilated their message (actually it was "scarry")...Beliefs usually change in one or two ways. Gradually, over continuing development of the concious mind leading to greater awarness; or through a life changing event.

Maybe they were hoping to change committee's, kind of like our legislators halting a vote they were going to lose in order to bring it to a committee that would pass it, didn't work for them in the end either

I just got off the phone with Sweeney's office because of new jerseys bull crap air rifle laws
All new air rifles come with sound baffles on the barrel. These are single shot, pump pellet guns. Up until yesterday you could have walked into you nearest dicks sporting goods and bought one with no problem. Now the state sent a letter to gun dealers and fish and wildlife sent an email to instructors. Stating that these air rifles are considered illegal because they have a "silencer" on them. Over the last year or 2 thousands of them have been sold legally to nj residents from legal gun shops. Now all of a sudden you are a felon for having one. No bills or laws were passed, no info has been made public, nobody knows unless you are a dealer or instructor. Now this fall nj has a new air rifle hunting season starting. You are gonna have thousands of innocent hunters entering the woods with these guns. If caught they will be felons and spend a decade in jail.
What problems is this solving? It's insane. It will ruin people's lives for nothing.
