I just went with the SSA trigger. Such a good deal and sale I couldn't stop.

30% off at Geissele , shipped free

.now, if I can only find out where the heck Rebel drilled that pin in to hold the stock. All I want to do is adjust it, not take it out of compliance. I should be allowed to do that in my own house. Then re-pin in.

The roll pin is hidden underneath the lever.

I saw Primary Arms has the Aero receivers for a halfway decent price.  Is there any particular reason I would want to get the Aero handguard.  I prefer ALG EMR Mlok.

    Shuylerarmsco.com

    $110 M5 lowers

    $300 M5 Mlok builders set ( upper , lower and 15" handguard )

EDIT:  PSA has the SSA-E on sale for $180, that's 60 off the normal price everywhere.  I'm going to get one.

$192 shipped from Geissele with the current 20% off sale , next month they will probably be $168 like they were for last year's Black Friday sale.

  5. I know it's kind of old, just wanted to share what I learned today ;

With the stock on the receiver extension loosen the takedown screw that can be accessed thru the butt pad , lift the actuator arm freeing the tension spring toggle from the locking block. Press actuator arm back into place without setting the tension spring toggle back into place, tighten takedown screw.

  6. Choose barrel, prefer mid length gas 14.5" and what profile

Choose muzzle brake.  Assembled length greater than 16"? Good.

Choose handguard.  Uses standard or own barrel nut?

    Get proper gas tube.

Get proper gas block.  Fits barrel profile? Fits under handguard?

At this point you might as well spend the money on an upper receiver and have 2 guns in one , until the time comes that you decide you don't want to swap uppers and build yourself another lower

  8. wow Larue sends a crap ton of extras for buying a trigger

    3 stickers

a sweet bottle opener "beverage entry tool"

    2 catalogues

"battlefield mixer" paint can top with mixing sticks

and 7oz of their "Dillo Dust" dry rub

Did you get the pocket Constitutions ?

  9. Got one for $99 using the " I can wait " option during their Labor Day sale ( took 4 weeks )

Haven't shot with it yet, but dropping the hammer on a trigger block the break is as crisp and clean as an SSAe, reset is noticeably longer.

  10. With ridiculous courts backing them, NJ is very creative with their "We love Second Amendment, but...." BS. At the least, they will make this requirement for every Range Business.  Their take is that they are not infringing on your rights, only making requirements for running a business. And some Range businesses will happily back it.

    No , they won't
