It is becoming absolutely incredible how difficult it has become to get a permit in Fair Lawn. It is not
about the time to get the permit, it is about getting to see the detective to submit the paperwork.
One time I had to come back 3-4 times after hearing various excuses from system is down, to him not being
there to a schedule change even though I have had an appointment.
I am not sure if a call to the State Police is warranted or the 2nd amendment society can step in.
I live in FL, too, and it is asinine that one has to make an appointment just to hand in the paperwork. Something that is so simple takes multiple days off of work.

Thanks everyone for the input. Me and the girlfriend booked are flights today and we are pretty darn excited! We looked at all differenet times and different airports and leaving from Philadelphia at our original dates (Nov 18th - Dec 2nd) was the cheapest. I can say after searching flights nonstop I found out the cheapest day to book it was on Wednesday (hint why I did today). My buddy told me when going on expedia and sites like that if you don't clear your history and cookies the sites know you have been on their site and won't change prices to anything cheaper. So I kept deleting everything and monitored it for couple weeks and everytime Wednesday was the cheapest, so a little information for you guys!
That's a bit misinformed on cookie data. Fares are loaded a few times a day and even 3rd party sites will reflect that.
Either way, Google flights, Hipmunk, and Kayak are still the top dogs in the flight search game.

Not a bad price but it's not a smokin' hot deal either. I find Freedom Munitions to have the best prices nowadays, good quality ammo as well.

My brother has an Egg and yes you can slow cook on it, with great results.
I've done pork butts overnight for 16-20 hours at 225* with one load of good charcoal. Never having to open the lid. Ceramics are awesome.

There is an error in my entry on the form. It says I applied on August 24th of this year, it`s supposed to say April 24th. I must have selected August by mistake.
But with Aberdeen, it took 40 days from submission of forms to receiving on FID and 2 p2p`s. Applied April 24th, received June 3rd. P2p`s and FID were dated for June 2nd.
I made the fix. Thanks for letting me know and also for contributing!

If flying into Austin is the easiest option, look at Southwest Airlines. They have a nonstop out of EWR and it's ALWAYS cheap.

I ordered on 4/6 and haven't gotten notice of anything, including a response from either one of my emails.
I'd give them (Hannah?) a call. I've found, at times, they can be slow to reply to email.
UPS says my shipment was delivered today. Ordered the 4th as well.

I only went with 400 rounds of 9 and .40 because a few days before they announced that sale, I put in an order for 500 rounds! Damn.

I am pretty sure the guy had a 7 round 1911. Unfortunately the Libs will flip this and say "see, only 3 were killed because of the limit of the magazine."

I personally couldn't pass on that deal and purchased a 14.5" BCM Upper for my first AR build. I'll probably be starting a new thread to ask a bunch of questions about my build shortly.
