I get quotes every year to make sure I'm getting the best rate and it's always GEICO. I haven't had to file a claim though so no experience with that.

I just used them for the first time last month. Apparently there was some big system glitch that caused my order to be delayed 3 weeks. The shipment finally went out with some "extras" as a show of good will. From all the good praise, I'm hoping it's a few extra boxes of 9mm.
Update. Finally got my shipment in after being delayed weeks. For this error, instead of sending what I ordered (9mm Reman), they sent 10 boxes of 9mm New. Great service recovery!

The site did seem slow / didn't load for me a bit over the weekend. Thought it might have been the service provider having some hiccups. Seems OK now though.

Congratulations, this will be the first of many :-)
You were SO right! As we speak, a Rock Island Armory 1911 9mm is on its way to WPR just before my remaining pistol permit expires!

Damn, very local but I can't make it this Saturday. Please keep posting these as my wife and I would like to take this course!

Thinking of using up this second P2P that expires in about a month. Considering another one under $500 to go with the M&P 40 Pro... maybe RIA 1911 9mm or an EAA Witness 9mm.
Or if the factory M&P 9 barrels & mags ever come back into stock, I can get a .45 1911

All this BBQ talk is making me hungry. Haven't had good brisket since I smoked a 14 lb full packer in my Big Green Egg last summer. I will be headed to Austin in a month for a bachelor party... home of the best hill country brisket on the planet!

I always love dinosaurs but it's a trek. Mighty quinns I'd newer but really awesome bbq.

Are you allowed to pick up your own brass ?
Was there last night and just read this on the posted rules in the port. If you're picking up brass, you're supposed to mark it first.

My membership package (silver level) included some free rentals, none of which I've used. How does that work if I want to try out the higher end stuff? Can I trade 2 credits for 1 "tope shelf" rental? Or can I pay the difference? Thanks.
I believe those free rentals with your membership count for anything on the wall, top shelf or not. At least that's how mine have been treated.

Welcome back to the 201 from a fellow Bergen born-and-raised!

$287 shipped per 1k, new, here: http://www.freedommunitions.com/default.asp#&panel1-1
Just made this purchase earlier today. I've read some good reviews on their stuff.

I had one of those $9.84 charges on my Chase card in December.
I contacted them to have it removed and issue a new card, then today I see an article in USAToday about this!
I have had at least 10-15 incidents with various cards, but the CC company always cover the fraudulent charges. I do not use a debit card, but I understand you have some limited liability with those?
Quite limited. Something like... if you don't report the fraud within 2 business days, you're liable for up to $500 of the charges. Risk vs reward... no one should use a debit card.

I too have the Discover IT. The holograms on the mag strip ("holomag") don't do anything really; they're for visual inspection which, as we know, virtually no cashier does.
-
The newest Discover cards have no embossing, the numbers are screen printed on the rear.
How does that prevent fraud?

Saw the movie a few weeks ago and enjoyed it. So much so that I went out and bought the book on Kindle. I've probably only read (for leisure) less than 20 books in my life but this one was great. A very quick and descriptive read.
Now I'm actually onto Chris Kyle's American Sniper.

When do we get to shoot it?
I'll post the next time I go to WPR!

Hello everyone, just an update here for Hamilton Twp (Mercer). I applied for 3 P2Ps at the end of October, and received them at the end of last week. In total, it was 80 days from start to finish. There wasn't any extra paperwork besides the reference forms that were in the "packet" that I picked up. They did let me hand them in with my completed paperwork in person. They also allow them to be mailed in, but I advise against that since a friend did that and the reference forms were never received.
On a separate note, I joined the NJ2AS to help the effort of putting an end to this mess. I heard some talk at my LGS that the process can actually get done a lot sooner. Sounds like the delays are intentional...
Please consider recording your experience in the database I've set up to help consolidate the info!
