    A melitta cone is an excellent way to make coffee. Fresh, locally roasted beans, ground yourself moments before brewing, through a pour over cone will produce an excellent cup of coffee. Light years ahead of what you'd get at dunkin,sbux,etc. the beans and grind are the most inportant parts. Get a hario hand grinder, melitta cone and you'll be loving life during power outages

    I have this setup (pour over + french press, hario hand grinder) because a) great for outages and b) I love good coffee.

     

    Regarding the solar battery packs, has anyone found any that are actually GOOD? I've been through 3-4 now and as far as recharging via the sun, they're pretty terrible.

    The issue i have had with USPS since they took over part of amazon shipping is they are not meeting the two day delivery period I should get woth my amazon prime membership. Sometimes they do but a fair amount of the time it is three or four days that and the tracking sucks.

     

     

    have you contacted amazon? They are typically helpful. Document your orders and when it's time to renew ask for a refund on your membership.

    Agree with this. Usually, I hope that I have a few orders throughout the year that miss the guaranteed 2-day shipping. If so, contact Amazon and they'll extend your Prime membership for a month, at least.

    Though in NJ now, I learned to drive in Minnesota. My modified Subaru STI with snow tires on an extra set of rims for the snow is great fun. IMO, in the white stuff, snow tires > good all seasons > bad all seasons/any high performance summer. Tires matter; the differences are significant.

    Also have an STI with snows. A joy to drive in the fresh stuff! It's the other drivers that we all have to worry about.

    As the recent owner of a new Forester, that doesn't make me very happy to know.

    They mostly go after the WRXs and STIs, but since parts can (or at least used to) cross over a lot, be smart about your security! Or if you have a non-turbo one, you're generally good to go.

     

    They banged up the side of it and shot out the back window. Too much damage to make it onto a ship. It was all for nothing.

    Was probably just for a joy ride. I've seen that happen around the area. They'll just speed around 78, GSP, NJTP.

    Hi, everyone. Just introducing myself. I found the forum just buy Googling "nj gun forums" and here I am.

     

    The wife and I are basically complete firearm newbies, but have our FID & P2P apps ready and waiting. Just trying to get the local detective to schedule a time that works for us. Looking forward to all the great info on the forum!
