For construction equipment I would. I called a local guy that said $300 and it wouldn't cool as well as a new aluminum one. But I hate the plastic end tanks. Found a all aluminum one on line for under $200. Still looking into that. I also found Holly has one also for about $50 more but available at AutoZone so I could pick it up there.

Lets call it a new classic. Its a '87 Buick Regal Type T. Still has a real radiator in her. I can retro fit one of these plastic fantastic beer can coolers in her, and people say they cool better and are lighter (= faster) which I would consider if I was still racing her. But have heard bad things can happen to plastic tanks if you blow a head gasket under 20lbs of boost. Which I'm not gonna do anymore with her. But it's something to ponder. I guess I'll do the retro and be done with it. I just hate this throw away society we've become.

Anyone have one done lately? Just wondering what the average cost would be.

If you've never been to one....
And your pretty close. People come from Conn. and NY.

From the NJDEP site " Those using the ranges must provide their own firearms and/or bows, ammunition, arrows, clay birds and/or targets. Only backstops at bow ranges are provided. Please note that state WMAs and facilities are "carry in - carry out" and trash receptacles are not provided; please plan accordingly to not leave any trash or recyclables behind "

There are no trash cans there now. So you bring it in...you take it back out with you. I think I have a brass catcher around here someplace.

The posts holding it up look to be just 4x4s. They shoulda used 3" Schedule 80 pipe.

So a buddy of mine has a .308. Is that considered a .30 cal family?
-
Just went on the NJDEP hunter training site and it seems a few of the other ranges have been upgraded to .30 also

Not a word. They even took down the sign that mandated what your target stand had to be built like.

Gotta an Auto zone near you? They loan out tools and maybe they have one. Also might try a tire service dealer. Maybe offer to give them what it will cost to replace if you don't bring it right back.

And it saddens my heart to hear that. I blame it on all the condos they put up on farm land.

I just went threw this with my stepson. Facebook has a lot of offerings but good luck getting anyone to answer your requests. Open your quest to hyundai and you'll find something in your price point. They aren't a bad little car and a lot more of them around. Hondas and Toyotas people seem to keep for well over 190k and at a premium with less mileage on them. We ended up finding a 2013 Subaru after 2 months of searching for 6k at a dealer. Another pretty good car with all wheel drive. He loves it.

NJ influence maybe??
Oh I knew you were right about the eastern side being blue. I meant it would still be better then what we have here now. And we could help dilute the cesspool.

12 minutes ago, Sniper said:Is eastern PA much better? There's still a lot of "Blue" territory there.
You're kidding right??? Almost anyplace is better. Plus we could help turn it red.

I was thinking that also. But we have a river between us.
-
Sounds like its doable. Question is would the Feds let it happen.
-
I don't buy any of it. Think about how you'd put any hand gun down. Was he holding it by the barrel? I'm thinking someone else was holding it. Maybe playing a stupid game and he won the prize.

Go to You Tube. Watch a few videos just to see if its something you want to do. There are a few special tools that are needed. But mostly they just make it easier or so you don't break something. They don't call the AR a big boys erector set for nothin.

I have a 2010 SLT I've had since new. Love the truck. Got the hemi because you need a hemi. Other then the recall on the rear pinion nut, I've had zero problems with it. My only gripe was the headlights sux. I swapped them out for HIDs and never looked back. Well worth the cost. At least with my old eyes anyway. I did have a keyfob crap out. It would start the truck but non of the buttons worked. Don't go to a dealer for one! Or get one on ebay. (BTDT) Had one and it left me stranded. I found a locksmith the has genuine Mopar keyfobs. I think I paid $75 for one. Oh, and everyone knows nothing rusts as bad a Ford. That why there's so many new ones around.
