Something I just remembered...The reason the water flow is so low (I think) was because we always had a reverse osmoses filter in line which is really needed to keep the evap. from scaling up. One reason the ice cubes are always clear from an ice maker. Anyway you really should have one. And you could fill your tank threw it keeping your machine clean. You wouldn't believe the slime mold that grows inside though things.

I was going through over $10 a weekend in ice during the summer anyway. I fill up a large cooler of ice in the back each Sat and Sunday during the summer to keep all the kids drinks cool, and a dozen cans of beer all the time. When you have a pool and young kids the gatherings turn from nothing to something fast. When you said “tank” you mean like a tank that can be filled by hand?
To be honest I only worked on commercial units that did have a city water supply line but through a regulator that just let the water in very slowly. You couldn't just pour the water in. But with a proper, lets say a 5 gallon container with something like a garden hose fitting on the bottom side, you could let it gravity feed into the tank.
Just thinking about your situation, maybe find used refrigerator you can put someplace covered that the kids could have access to. Put on a GFI to be safe.
Might try a restaurant supply house to find a used ice maker.

You didn't say what type of ice maker you're looking to get. Many commercial ice makers have a tank and pump system that flows the water over the evaporator freezing the water in sheets of little cubes. Then when thick enough the refrigeration system reverses (like a heat pump) and melts the sheet releasing the ice cubes. This type of ice maker could be used with a bucket as the tank has a float switch and doesn't time out. It's been a while since I worked on them but I don't think thats changed much over the years. With all the restaurants closing up you may be able to find a used one. They ain't cheep but you'll have more ice then you'll know what to do with.

So goes the world...

Or 26" Or 20". Let me know what you have.

As mentioned before, small game in NJ are not allowed to be hunted using anything bigger than .25in
.22lr .17hmr and .223 are the only guns i've seen carried on farms and ranches up here in the north for management of pests. A slug would be overkill trying to take out the groundhog putting holes in your paddocks.
We're not talking about shooting deer here, that have a roughly 10" kill zone, where a slug at 100 yards could be "accurate" enough.
She's in south Jersey. Not very hilly. I wouldn't use an AR unless I was hunting coyotes and elevated. Too many "ifs" for me.
To answer the OPs original question-yes a .410 would take out a coyote just fine under 50yds with 00 buck

You gonna shoot a rifle out to 600yds? In New Jersey? You can use slugs which are pretty accurate out to 100yds.

I would think 2 or 3 times before firing any type of long gun in NJ not at a range. If I needed to carry around a gun on a farm truck or something it would be a 12ga.shotgun. Look into these mini shells that are getting some press (if you can find them.) Supposed to have a lot less recoil. And you don't have to worry much about taking out a neighbor a half mile away.

The act of doggy style coitus, where, approaching the climax, the male participant remarks "Your sister likes this way, too". He then starts the clock to see how long he can stay on.
It's called cowboy sex. Or so the joke goes. You ask "you know how cowboys have sex?" You cleaned it up real nice though...lol

Back in the day I remember FM had some QC issues. I've shot many of their 9 & 223 without an issue. Both new and reload rounds. I've had 2 squibs with Federal. I stopped buying FM for the same reason 45Doll did.
Just sayin...

I carried an old Coleman Pro-Lock for more the 20 years everyday. That, a small adjustable wrench, a flashlight and a Fluke meter while doing my rounds on the roof AC units and I fixed many small problems before they became big problems. The thing I loved about the Coleman was the cartridge was removable so if I needed to hold a nut while using the screwdriver I could. Most other "multi tools" you can only use one of the tools at a time. The idea was you could custom build your MT with different cartridges to fit your needs. Never really caught on but you can still find then on ebay. I still strap mine on when taking the bike out just incase.

I think most shops charge around $30-50. Do it and feel better about it. Or pin it yourself if you're handy with a drill. It doesn't need to be welded.

Unless you have electric heat, electric range/oven or a huge AC unit, a 12Kw genset is more then enough for most any house. Think about how many TVs, 'puters, lights, refrigerators/freezers need to by running to add up to 50 amps. Do an inventory of what you really need to run during a power outage.
-
Generac seem to be the go to stand by genset. At least they're the only ones I see along side most homes. I would do a google and You Tube search.

Installed properly a compensator can be removed without ruining the barrel.

With Connery dying a few weeks ago, Burt Reynolds better watch out. Everyone in that SNL skit is at risk.
Burt Reynolds died in 2018. Maybe Joe should look out. I would eat anything around his VP without a taste tester...
