Does anyone know how backed up the current nics times are? Have a permit coming up to expire just want to make sure I don't wait too long before buying as I'm still unsure what I'm getting.

I have a permit.... I can't find a gun I want so it's a mute point. If I order it, it might not be here till the permit expires. Would be nice if we could pay it forward.

  2. Aren't they taking reservations at RTSP? I made one for yesterday at TTC. Only had to wait for the guy in the port I was to use to get cleaned up. I'm not sure but I think they were only taking half hour increments. The RO gave us a 5 minute warning which they never did before. But they never had to wipe down every port after use before either. Anyway, I was able to make another reservation for next week so it should be about the same wait. Walk ins might have a crazy wait time since there are only 6 ports open.

  3. New Jersey arcades, bowling alleys, museums, aquariums and other some other recreational activities can reopen to the public starting next week as the state continues to add permitted activities ahead of the July 4th weekend, Gov. Phil Murphy announced Wednesday.

The entertainment options, which include shooting ranges and batting cages, can reopen Thursday, July 2 at 25% capacity, the same day amusement and water parks, along with Jersey Shore boardwalk rides may reopen.

There absolutely will be a next time, my guess would be mid October just in time to screw up the voting booths.   And that is the importance of following through with the suit,  to open now and to prevent a "next time"  Once the Asshole is forced to reveal is Ouija board science as to why some essential places are more essential then others.    Hopefully ALL businesses start suing him at that point.

That brings me to another question,   Why is it when these suits are filed they state " in his official capacity" as governor, superintendent, mayor of what ever title your choose.   These should be filed against them personally since these are their personal views and hatred of the constitution.

I'd like to know who is on his Ouija board? Don't think I've ever heard him say who his experts are. Do they know anything about an indoor shooting range? What safe guards are in place? Air filtration? I believe he's stated multiple times how he's against guns. Is this shut down his idea due to his distaste for the Constitution that he swore to uphold? He should be made to answer questions in open court.

  5. I feel all the small business owners missed the boat. After the first month and seeing only the big box stores being aloud to open, they should have sued together then to open. Proper safety precautions in place. I don't think (and hope ) they won't make the same mistake the next time. And you know there will be  a next time. Might be a much harder sell for who ever is in charge then.

I agree however I thought this was more of an EDC question not defending yourself in the home which is why I said knife.

Actually it was an "is this legal" non question. A friend of mine sent me the link and asked me. I had no idea so I posted it. Being NJ I thought it might be a no since everything is here.  I agree, it's not something I would rely on.

Pick one ya like and print out all you need.

My shooting buddy and I used to make our own splatter targets but it became more work then I wanted to do. I find a sheet of white paper gets a nice black hole in it that's easy to see. For rifle I use those 2"sticky red dots you get on a roll or in sheets I use on anything I can find to stick a few on. A pizza box works well. Something a range officer told me seemed to work for me.

  10. The Honda genset. If it's not the best home/work generator out there it beats what ever is in 2nd place. That said it's according to your needs. You say you're renting now. If you intend to get a stand alone when ever you get your own place look used now. This is a pretty good time to look on Craigs list. Till the 1st hurricane. The Honda EU2200 will start and run your fridge and a fan or two with room to spare. But I would only want that as a back up to a 6 to 8k for an emergency if it crapped out so you could still run the fridge. Lottsa info on wattage usage  out there. Decide what you absolutely can't do without during an emergency and size your genset from there.
