I'm very worried about this bill since I've got 7 of this style rifles. In the characteristics they've also included; a second hand grip or protruding grip that can be held by the non-trigger hand. Guess that does away with my AFG's. Also included, if I read the bill correctly, you can't even have a muzzle brake on your gun. A semiautomatic rifle that has the ability to accept detachable magazine and has at least one of the following characteristics; (vi) a flash suppressor, muzzle break, muzzle compensator, or threaded barrel designed to accommodate a flash suppressor, muzzle break, muzzle compensator or grenade launcher. Gun Owners of America (GOA) have a list of people on the Law & Public Safety Committee to call and ask them to vote no on this bill. Unfortunately 4 of the 6 are Democrats. It's also very difficult when gun owners only comprise approx.10% of the votes in NJ. We're in for a tough fight here. I guess they feel all law abiding gun owners will one day go nuts and shoot people. Someone said this is not about Gun Control, but Gun Owner Control!
