    Lakewood, which has the largest Orthodox population in the state, also reported an increase, according to Lakewood Police Chief Gregory Meyer.

    “ Meyer said via email, declining to offer specific data. “I think people saw what happened to unarmed citizens living in Israel and have decided to arm themselves for home and self-protection.”

    Nice to see a Chief of Police admit (sort of) if things go seriously sideways don't expect the cops to protect you.

    To prevent gun violence, and to mitigate the risk of mass shootings, the State of New Jersey (“New. Jersey”) has long banned possession of large capacity ammunition magazines (“LCMs”) —\

    As I recall the Virginia tech shooter used two Glock hand guns and ten round mags. Killed 32 and wounded 17.

    Worst mass shooting in the U.S. prior to the Las Vegas shooting.

    The best use for Sta-Bil is prep for over winter storage of small engines.  It keeps carbs from getting gacked up with the gelatinous goo caused by the ethanol soaking up water.

    I probably should but I've never done any winter gas prep with my outdoor yard equipment.

    Never had any issues but it's only from Nov to late April. Generator on the other hand gets marine Sta-Bil in the fuel.

    I've heard same but can't confirm.

    I think the issue is it can't be "Non-compliant".  So if it comes with a regular  bird cage flash hider then it's non-compliant.  If it's under 16 inches, it's non-compliant.

    Pretty much everything they sell will be non-compliant as is.

    The way I read it incomplete upper receivers are GTG to N.J. (For now).

    There is definitely some price fixing going on.  Previously, any time a mouse farted in the middle east, prices skyrocketed, here we have the most significant event in a half century and prices are going down.

    The U.S. is less dependent on Middle East oil than in 2008 and is pumping record amounts of around 13 million bbl per day, (could be 15 million BPD  if the Biden thing wasn't president).

    Plus, there are big off shore oil plays coming online in Guyana, the U.S has lifted sanctions on Venezuela oil, demand is down, etc. OPEC doesn't have the same pricing power it once had.

    And we're only #7? I'm actually a little surprised, although the tax on diesel is higher, which I will assume includes #2 diesel.

    And for road maintenance.  I would be fine with paving, but for anyone else in or near Hunterdon County, the rock blasting on I78 is ridiculous.  In almost 20 years I have not seen a rock fall, that they claim they need to prevent.

    The bulk of the gas tax goes to prop up NJ transit which would be bankrupt overnight without the state (i.e. taxpayer) bail outs.

    Stay at motels and ask for the first floor where you can park directly in front of your room door.  You'll be sleeping 10 feet from your car.

    Thats how we always did it when on road trips.

    Back the car right up to the room door and unload, no shlepping bags through the lobby and down hallways or have some A-holes in the room above waking you at 6am taking a bath.

    One time we were at a place outside of Rapid City in South Dakota, little did we know one of those f-ing tour buses was staying the night .

    Zero dark thirty they wake us up as they all pile out their rooms to start getting on the bus to leave, yelling to each other, pounding up and down the stairs, the building was wood construction so you felt as well as heard everything.

    . What DOES surprise me is that you can buy Menendez so cheap! A C-300 Benz? C'mon, man anything less than an S Class would be an insult!

    U.S. senators are known for being some of the cheapest politicians to buy off.   Not kidding.

    They sell their influence in multi-billion $ schemes for pennies on the dollar.

    I know this seems like a good thing, but realize that if he loses his seat, Murphy gets to pick his replacement. If we had a R governor right now, this indictment would never have happened. Pay attention people, it's not always what it seems.

    Yep.

    This perfect for the democrats. If Menedez resigns or is convicted Murphy gets to name someone to finish out his term, build name recognition as "Senator" and get their campaign going.

    Of course, Murphy could call for special election, but only republicans like Chris Christie would do something that stupid.

    Which is how we got Cory Booker in 2013 after Frank Louse-nberg croaked, (democrats had pulled a fast one allowing Louse-nberg to replace Torricelli on the ballot after Torricelli was caught on corruption charges).

    N.J. dems have a long history of corrupt Senators.

    Registered Voters in NJ:

    Dem = 2.6 mil

    Rep = 1.5 mil

    Una = 2.4 mil

    But ofcourse there is gerrymandering which is hard to overcome.

    With all that going for them the incumbent Murphy should have beat Citarelli by at least ten points in 2021.

    Instead the dems lost seats in the assembly and Murphy "won" by around three points after late night ballot dumps and vote counting that went on for days after the election.

    Martin Armstrong has been warning about CBDC's  (Central Bank Digital Currencies).

    In addition to controlling all transactions and the ability turn off anyone who they see as a threat governments figure they will increase tax recipients by at least 20%.

    I think the messaging matters. Republicans need to find a way to connect with them.  Kim G. failed at that during her gubernatorial run for governor.

    Republicans and Christie gave away the election to Murphy in 2017 with that Kim Gaug thing. She was a loser, they knew it and were obviously okay with that.

    Citarelli got robbed with late night ballot dumps in 2021.

    so I sold my car and was paid cash,  what is the limit on depositing cash in a bank before a red flag is sent up?   I thought it used to be 10k but I thought the commies in power lowered it

    It still 10k when they must report it but banks can also report for lesser amounts.

    You should re-post this in the 1st amendment forum for more info.
