Welcome, crayon eater (said with love, from a former Navy Submariner)!

You have good taste in shotguns. You should join us for clays once the ranges open up!

Thanks haven’t heard that one in a bit :icon_lol:

I’m up for shooting clays Thanks for the invite!

  2. Saw last night that the NJ tax burden per person is $65,100, one of the highest if not the highest in the nation. The bulk of the expense is reported to be for state employees and state retirees benefits

    Siggy,

The truth of the matter is we are a slim minority as the brainwashing by the media and the politicians, the majority of NJ Residents truly believe no one should own a gun, Until they need one and recently found out how difficult it is to get one in this socialist state.  Every shooting in the papers by gangs drug dealers and thugs are never reported that THESE are the problem, not you and I.

Very true and an excellent point. Did you happen to catch 60 minutes Sunday night? Had a segment on ghost guns. The segment was loaded with misinformation. My take on it is that they basically presented x-change caliber conversion kits etc as also being a ghost gun, even though it didn’t have an FCU. Essentially all parts and kits should be serialized and registered, not just the FCU, or those containing an FCU. The media is unbelievably biased and full of misinformation to push their liberal anti gun agenda

The people at large run the risk of running into those "baddies" law enforcement put way after they have been released from jail as well.  I personally know several citizens not affiliated with law enforcement that this is happened to.  Perhaps conscientious civilians should voluntarily and morally defend these cops and retired cops even though those with a badge have no legal duty to protect the citizens (but often do).

Freedom and the right to carry... It will never happen with this kind of conditioning and duality, and with those that continue to give up their freedoms on the pretense of safety and security and a warped view of equality at the behest of the elite.

I totally agree. With our current government in this state there will always be duality. I hope that people wake up and open their eyes for election time in this state and get Murphy the heck out of office

  5. Do I think that retired LEOs should have privileges above us, no, not really, but in all reality they have put away baddies and certainly run the risk of running into those they put away after they have been releasd from jail. I personally know several LEOs both active and retired that this has happened to. For this reason I feel they should be allowed to carry.

Of course as for the rest of us I strongly believe that we also have the right to carry, but  we live in a tyrannical state and barring a miracle that will never likely be

You can bet your a$$ NJ will raise taxes as will municipalities after this.

True that. I’m Atlantic County so I will be feeling the wrath of the closed Casino’s during this pandemic for a good long time to come

  8. Sig P320 Full 9mm. Also have the x-change kits for the Compact 40 S&W with a 357 Sig barrel, and a 9mm Compact x-change kit as well. Just taking advantage of the modularity when living in a non-free state

  9. That would be nice but no way that’s happening. I would take anything since I pay for my kids to go to Catholic school in addition to the NJ school tax. Yeah I know it’s my choice to send my kids to Catholic school, but still in my mind I’m paying two school taxes and I’d be ecstatic to get any kind of a rebate

  10. Hey from a FNG from South Jersey. Born and raised in South Philly moved to the People’s Republic of NJ in 1992 after getting married. Stuck here ever since. Spent time in the Marine Corps Oorah!! Live at the southern Jersey shore. As you can tell from my forum name and avatar I’m partial to Sig’s, however my favorite shotgun is my Browning Citori O/U pheasant slayer my bride bought me as a Christmas gift in 1994.

Passions include saltwater fishing from the back bays to offshore for tuna and other exotics and pelagics, bird hunting with my Springer pup, bow hunting and of course shooting.

Looking forward to participating and learning.

    BTW it’s pork roll mofo’s

    Stay safe and healthy

    mike
