  1. For you NJ owners of an FN 545-T, I have three brand new ten round magazines.  They are not in their packaging, as I toss them in a container as soon as I purchase, but they are new.

These cost $50 each retail.  I will part with all three magazines for $100, so basically one is free.  Free shipping.

First to say "I'll take it" wins the sale.  Thanks.

  2. WTS AK-47 / AKM Ten Round Magazines.  I have 26 total, ten round mags.  All are in new or like new condition.

11 of the magazines are sealed in their Magpul PMAG wrapping, unopened

5 of the magazines are not in the sealed PMAG wrapping, but are in new or like-new condition

4 of the magazines are Arsenal branded magazines.  1 is black, 3 are plum color.

3 of the magazines are Gen 2 KCI USA steel magazines (2 are in wrapping, 1 is outside wrapping)

3 of the magazines are Bulgarian AK-47 Polymer CLEAR magazines (one is in wrapping, the other two are new or like new)

$200 for all 26 with free shipping.  These are all factory ten round mags, they are not pinned or blocked as an aftermarket modification (they are the short mags).

Feel free to message me and I can text photos if that helps.   I am having a hard time attaching photos to this topic post.

  3. WTS 7.62 x 39 ammo.   I have 4000 rounds of 7.62 x 39 ammo.  All steel cased.  Most are Barnaul.  Some boxes are Red Ops and Red Army.  Most of the Barnaul is either in a sealed spam can or boxes, but some was removed from a previous spam can and placed into ammo cans as loose ammo.   Spam can comes with an opener.  I sold my AKM rifle and no longer have a need for the ammo.

Please message me with any questions.

I will sell the entire lot for $1,000 ($0.25 per round), so it's a pretty good deal.  For the ammunition that is in an ammo can, the sale comes with the ammo cans.  Happy to send photos and chat live.   I am in central New Jersey.

Buyers must be legally able to purchase rifle ammunition in NJ.  Min age of 18 confirmed by DL or other government ID.

  4. Does anyone know of an FFL merchant who will order, block for NJ compliance, and ship magazines?   I am trying to get my hands on 10 round magazines for the FN 510T.  FN said they were releasing 10 round magazines but I guess they are delayed on that.

Are there any known FFLs who would order the standard capacity magazines and block them for NJ compliance?   Thanks!

The actual legislation does not state you have to qual with the exact gun you carry. That was a constraint the court imposed in some places.

Now that the courts are out of it, if you have been approved for a CCW license and have a qualification on record (shot with any handgun you own) then you can carry (within the scope of NJ Law) any other handgun you legally own.

If you are already carrying on a permit that has already been issued by the court, and there are court imposed restrictions, I recommend you contact the issuing court or an attorney to determine if the court order still applies until your permit expires and you re-up.

That logic makes sense.   The process was so administratively fatiguing the first time.  When I inquired (before the new law was passed) on how to add new hand guns, I was told the Monmouth County judge wanted all new applications to add a pistol.  The juice wasn't worth the squeeze on that, I would live with the one pistol.  But if it's easier now, that's a different story...

I heard that one should submit 2 pistol qualifications first then once approved then send in additional pistol qualifications so not to arise any red flags with the judge? Is that true? I handed in much more than 2 qualifications because it takes forever after approved to add on the qualifications. I'm by Totowa NJ.

I wish.  Monmouth County won't let you add... They want a brand new application.  Because that's very efficient...

News out of Monmouth County via Jay Factor on FB Group New Jersey Firearms Owners Syndicate:

His post rambles a bit, but I think the gist of it is:

He had a pre-Bruen lawsuit appealing denial of his permit for justifiable need.  Today he had his court hearing for the granting of his permit.

He went with lawyer David Jensen.  Jensen argued in court that there should be no court-ordered restrictions on the permit (such as limiting to qualified guns, etc.).  The judge *AGREED*, and issued his permit with no restrictions or requirement to carry a copy of court order (and I'm assuming there were no court orders associated with the permit).

Supposedly, under "equal protection", any Monmouth county PTC holder with court-ordered restrictions can now file a motion with Monmouth County court to have their restrictions removed.  Possibly this will extend to PTC holders in other counties too.

    From his FB post:

I wonder what the process is to file a motion.

I qualified with one pistol so that's all I have on my permit, but would like to add more in Hudson and am likely going to hear the same story - full reapplication process from scratch. Here is my thinking though; my originally issued is still good while I wait for the new application process. So (except for the outrageous cost) the money is all I'm out while I wait for the updated permit. Am I looking at this correctly?

Sounds reasonable, it's just a pain to do all that paperwork, signatures, notary, etc., all over again.  Plus, who knows that could change in parallel that could create further complexities that are unforeseen.  I will sit tight with my one pistol permit while the universe stabilizes.  Doing a brand new application to add a pistol is silly in terms of complexity.   We have valid permits.  Other counties simply add based on quals.   At least that's what folks are posting, I can't confirm.

Seems unnecessary.  So this means that if someone has a catastrophic failure of their pistol and the manufacturer has to replace it, which means a new purchase permit, you have to reapply for a new PTC.  Seems overkill...

  9. For anyone in Monmouth County.  Just a heads up for anyone wanting to add a pistol to their PTC issued by Monmouth.  Apparently the new Judge who is working on PTC application, Judge Oxley, wants any additions to a permit to be done via a brand new PTC application.  So, no easy amendment.   Not worth the hassle from where I sit, but in case anyone is thinking it's easy to add a pistol, it is NOT easy to add...  Not in Monmouth...

I am kind of bummed as when I did my quals the range insisted on only one qualification because it was at the time when the NJSP issued guidance suggesting that you only needed to qual with one firearm.  The range wouldn't accommodate more than one per training session because they had a good faith belief that it was not necessary to do more...  Bummer.

Just received a copy of the court order granting my permit (Monmouth County, expiration Oct 2024) stating to pick up at my local PD. The court order specifically identifies the 2 handguns I qualified along with the 'typical sensitive areas', e.g. schools, gov buildings, polling places, etc, where it's not allowed.

Interestingly, the court order states I have to carry a copy of the court order along with the permit. I presume having a pdf copy or pics of the court order on your phone should suffice (assuming you have your phone while carrying)? Have others had this stipulation on their court order?

Does it have the no carrying in the car restriction?

Just called in Monmouth Courts and apparently Judge Lucas last signed off on permit #195. I'm #205 so I'm hoping to hear back from them soon.

I am in the low 100's, I think.  Is the Number Mon 205-2022, with 205 being the application number?

I have not heard anything since receiving a copy of the letter from the Prosecutor's office about a month ago saying I was compliant.

  12. I believe the proposed legislation also has a requirement that there be an interview with the Chief of Police.   Seems like a benign request although depending on volume, not sure how disruptive it will be to their calendar.

I do wonder though as to whether the seemingly high volume of pending applications will be kicked back if this legislation passes before the permits are issued under the old rules?
