Keep.in mind expiration dates on canned food are really for best quality. You can eat it after the expiration date (usually 3-4 years after manufacture date). It's not going to kill you. May not taste as good.
When I was in Vietnam we'd get C rations from WW2. How do I know they were from WW2? Got Lucky Strike cigarettes in a green pack. Lucky Strike went to a white pack in 1942 to save green dye for the war effort. These c rations were canned with 1940s technology.
Kept me fed and over 50 years later I'm alive.

Carry your mag in a mag pouch.

If a prosecutor is scrutinizing the ammo you used (as long as it's legal for you to use) there's something fishy in your case. You don't need a :"gun lawyer" you need a good criminal defense lawyer. He or she will do their utmost to ensure the case never goes to trial.

I believe its out of plain sight

Seems a bit pricy. Now if this safe has a much stronger box it might be worth it. However, the weak link in most safes is the cable. A thief would cut the cable and figure out how to get the safe open later. If they.cant they'll probably just toss the entire safe with firearm in a dumpster.

Stop pick-pocketing American taxpayers to fund illegal aliens, student loan forgiveness, abortions, and research on the last three purple spotted tree frogs on earth, stop all that bull shit and there will be so much money, soooooo much money.
I agree with what you say but...reparations would still be paid with tax dollars.

Perhaps at that time, gun owners should band together and sue the sate for, what's that thing called again, being compensated for government douchebaggery, oh, that's right...REPARATIONS.
If you do that where do you think the money is going to come from for reparations?
Tac dollars.

If the winning ticket holder is a non-resident of NJ, do they pay NJ tax or his home state tax?
Depends. I think PA residents pay their state tax. I could be wrong.

And you know this because...?
I know what I know as I worked on the border for over 2.years and have worked there tdy several times since.
OTOH, there is little reason for aliens to smuggle a gun. Reasons?
1. They know if they get caught with a gun by USBP they'll be in trouble. No gun? I can tell them any name I want and walk right in
2. They are coming from countries where guns are very difficult or impossible to obtain.
3. Those so interested know they can obtain a firearm easily off.the street.

I can guarantee there is no way USBP or CBP let's an illegal "slip" in with a firearm. Yes, all government agencies on all levels are governed by policy. Can it happen that an illegal slip in with a firearm? Yes, but not something that happens routinely. More like rarely. Very rarely.
The "got aways" who have crossed between the POEs may have smuggled a bazooka or 50 lbs of fenatyl. They were never encountered by USBP or CBP. Don't blame the mean and women of the agencies for that. There's only so many of them.

8 hours ago, Ferris said:I think you give a bit too much credit, look at the amount of drugs that make it over the border and I'm sure someone had to turn a blind eye when the ATF and Holder sent guns into mexico.
If you're implyimg Border Patrol and CBP turn a blind eye to drug smuggling you're wrong. You have little vision of the volume of drug smuggling. Sadly, I'd say maybe 10% of the drugs smuggled are intercepted. That's not due to lack of diligence by Border Patrol and CBP.
I guarantee you no Border Patrol Agent is going to put an alien, caught between the POEs, into a vehicle for transport without a search. No CBP officer is going to sit down an alien.for processing without a search.
Exit searches, although legal, are rarely done. Mexican Customs are not big on searching anything unless there's some money in it for them. You can load your trunk up with guns and ammo and drive into mexico with 99.9% chance of not being searched.

It's all going to lead to uncontrolled violence, which is what I think the Dems/George Soros are looking for. They break into your house when you're out and break into your gun safe. What a country.
Letting illegals into the country and letting illegals into the country with smuggled firearms are different issues. I'm certain CBP or Border Patrol give them a pat down and search any bags they have.

22 minutes ago, ESB said:So if they snuck the weapon into the country they are legally allowed to posses it?
That would be an importation issue for CBP. Generally if you import a firearm without declaring it it becomes contraband.

This is a major point many are not thinking of. If you're not convicted you're not a criminal.
Same thing as an unconstitutional law is not unconstitutional until a court has ruled it so.

"The People" referenced in 2A are, We The People of the United States, as prescribed in big bold letters, page one of the Declaration of Independence.
There is no contradiction for a constitutional purist.
Hmm...that seems like a stretch saying "the people" refers only to citizens. Illegal aliens have been granted every other right why not 2A?

28 minutes ago, voyager9 said:Okay, but if you're a strict "Constitutionalist", you'd have to go along with this. No where in the Bill of Rights does it say citizens. It says people. The 2A doesn't say citizens, it says people.

There already is a Supreme Court Police. Protection of the Justices is one of their duties.but when you look at the rest of the stuff they're supposed to do with less than 200 officers 24/7 protection of all Justices is not possible.

5 hours ago, Dr. Goodshot said:After practicing and training with guns for a few years now, I now understand that what you see on TV isn't real, especially when it pertains to guns. One thing I see a lot on cop shows and the like is a person with a gun getting into a locked room by shooting the lock. Sometimes it's a padlock, and other times it's the lock in a door.
Does that really work? Can you really open a room or a locked case by shooting out the lock with a gun?Generally, yes. I've been witness to.several instances. But it depends. Wood doors easier. Steel doors maybe. Heard of a guy who was security at an illegal drug lab with a steel.door.. Armed with.a sawed off.12 gauge loaded.with.birdshot. Cops came with a warrant. He tried to shoot the cops through the door. Only successful in shooting himself with ricocheted birdshot.
.Never saw a padlock that didn't quit after 1 or 2.357s. Don't ask me how i.know.

That's about $2 a gallon more than NJ.
What's Newsome's plan to recoup those taxes if everyone goes electric?
