  1. Attended with 5 other members and see were in the back left side. I thought the rabbi was the best speaker and his message is exactly why I am a 2a protector... because I love life. I did not catch his full name so if anyone knows him please post it. That guy is my new hero.

It was cold and wet... I have not had the shivers in years. I admittedly pussed out at noon... needed some warmth. But am going back on wed.

  2. This woman went to this hearing very well armed, her magazine had emotion, she used it, and while some may have tried to respond to the threat, the rest where like deer in the headlights. Sounds like she gets in more range time than the gentlemen.

This makes no sense... you're saying she was effective because she used emotion, fear and lies. And you think we should as well... And then insult people for taking the high road with our activism.

Do me a favor and stay home out of the snow and rain tomorrow.

  3. This reminds me of the conversation I had with a young employee that has a hammer and sickle tattoo on his arm. He feels that the USA is only for the wealthy and the everyone should have a job whether they want it or not. I attempted to educate him, but the best education came when his first paycheck came... and he realized how much he lost in taxes!!!

People are ignorant until they are informed by definition. Keep educating.

  4. GA Arms Canned Heat is great stuff for practice. 180gr, 500rd for $215

Ok, soapbox time. I highly recomend you do not get a 10mm as your first handgun. Please do yourself a favor, especially if your set on a Glock, and get a G19 or G17. You will practice more and for monger with a 9mm then you will with a 10mm. There is a HUGE difference in perceived recoil and comfort. The cost alone for 500 rds is significant ($85) so that is more shooting.

Take this for what it is... I am a dedicated 10mm fan and a G20 nut. I have spouted often on how I feel the G20 is the BEST Glock ever produced, so dont feel like this is bashing your gun decision, I personally think you will get more ENJOYMENT and EXPERIENCE out of a 9mm for a first handgun. You have plenty of time to get the G20.

  5. Ok guys.. I love reading this stuff because it makes my org, FEMA, look like the SS of 1938! If you worked here you would realize we would have a hard time organizing a BBQ, let alone a secret military force!!!

DHS is made up of Coast Guard, CBP, ICE, USSS, FEMA, TSA and FIPS among others... of those entities 6 have shooters. Why... go look at each of their missions and then tell me where in the world it might be construed to be used on US citizens. Should we disarm CBP, most people are scremaing for them to be better armed... How about the Coast Guard.. the only armed force that does their main job EVERY DAY!

why is it ok for citizens to hoard ammo when we get it at a good price? Dont you think that with the Afghan and Iraq wars winding down, that the ammo manufacturers are dropping prices and making deals so they are not stuck with 5 billion leftover surplus rounds... they need to move product now, and cant count on us shooters to buy 200rds a month and make their business work.

  6. Maks he is a politician and I understand fully that he will do what it takes to get elected. I also think that personally he is not a 2A supporter... he does not come from a military, LEO or even a hunting/fishing background. So look through his eyes, and try to see what he sees. He sees a dem state all screwed up in its economics, policies and legislative activities. He is the right guy to fix those issue... The 2A issues are foreign to this guy. Yes, it is about the Constitution, but there is always a personal side to any decisions made by politicians. But I think he will seem just like it is no business of anyone elses where he sends his kids to school, it is no business of anyone else how people exercise their 2nd Amendment Right.

But we have to bring him along, nurture that relationship, convince him that in NJ their are legal gun owners that have some power and are here to stay.
