Gun For Hire West Tactical AR Rifle Course This is the first open Gun For Hire Tactical Rifle Course. You must be pre-approved to attend this course. Breakfast and lunch will be included. You must pre-register for this event. There are only 20 open slots. he Tactical Carbine course will serve as an introduction to Carbine shooting (223. 5.56 type carbine). This one day class will develop strong shooting foundations and skills using the carbine rifle in urban and rural environments out to 100 yards. The course will cover the following topics, Safety Fundamentals of Shooting Zero of the Rifle Multiple Targets Shooting While Moving Shooting From Behind Cover Multiple Shooting Positions Rifle to Pistol Transition Drills Gear Selection and Placement Weapon Break Down and Maintenance Equipment needed by student, 223./5.56mm type rifle/carbine, rifle sling (single point preferred but not mandatory), 3 magazines, magazine holders (belt style recommended), 600 rounds .223/5.56 mm no tracer ammo, (I would recommend no reloaded ammo). Pistol with 50 rounds of ammo, strong side hip or drop holster, 3 magazines, magazine holders. Wraparound eye protection, ear protection, rain gear, water bottle, weapon cleaning kit, knee pads, shooting mat or sleeping pad (for prone position shooting). If using red dot sight extra batteries and back-up iron sights. This course will be high level moving and shooting tactical course. Not for the novice. Gun For Hire must pre-approve your attendance. Hello Guys, especially 67gtonut. I an so glad I could not respond to this post last night. You all may not know but I have gone to great lengths with Jennifer at the Bullet Hole to coordinate these events. I donate my school for free and the Bullet Hole makes a whopping $20.00 per student but of course we get to ride to PR wave. The Bullet Hole remains open 5 hours past closing to host the events and someone has to be there the whole time. It is one thing to mention that they did not smile but it might be because the family matriarch (grandma) died suddenly a few hours before last nights event and Jen decided not to cancel because people were traveling from over 80 miles away. What really pisses me of is the comparative reference to Caso's. I suggest that in the future you contact them to host these events. I am also hoping the Jennifer does not read you post.
