According to what my friend was told and charged with, if a police officer percieves something to be a threat, (1911 Airsoft with orange tip painted black) You will be arrested and charged with possession of a firearm. I think it's crazy but it has happened many times in NJ. I'm sure you can search for cases on the net.Hats off to Officer B1tch. :roll:

After I heard that crossbows are now legal in NJ and that there will be bow hunting allowed on Sundays, I felt a serious need to dive into the bow hunting world.
My brother, friend and I all ordered Jaguar crossbows and broadheads tonight. I've never handled a crossbow and don't even know what to expect, but for $135 it's not a huge risk to take. The reviews I've read are all glowing, though.
Anyone else going to give crossbows a try?
P.S. There's a bow hunting education class being held at Cherry Ridge range on September 20th, in case anyone is interested. I'll be there.

I bought an M95 on gunbroker from Jim, he does seem like a nice guy, no problems at all with the sale/paperwork. Very small store though.. had almost no inventory when I was in there. Said a lot of his stuff is on consignment, so stock level's vary.. wished i lived closer so I could check it out.He occasionally has some neat stuff but I think his business is based off of transfers. He's the cheapest in the area so he gets a high transfer volume.

$20 for transfers plus NICS fee + tax = $37. I've done a couple transfers thru him recently - no issues. He won't touch any AK stuff tho.
Jim does all of my transfers. Great guy and a straight shooter (no pun intended).
