  1. Local shop (Skylands Sports) has one for sale in the flesh. They are now out there. Order one from A&A after you go fondle it since PK90 deserves the love.

  2. Getting a type 6 federally is easy if you can get zoned for it locally. You can then manufacture bullets and jackets without additional licenses since NJ doesn't regulate their sale.

If you want to sell or manufacture ammunition you'll need NJ licenses as well which becomes more of a problem. You'll need a NJ retail FFL, and powder magazine licenses. You need to make quite a few sales to make it worthwhile.

  3. I don't agree with this law either. You should be able to get welfare for 6 months - one year max per allocation, must have a minimum of 7.5 yrs between allocations, and a maximum lifetime allocation limit of 5 yrs on welfare. Then there's no need for all of these "other" contingencies, agencies, state workers, etc.

But I'm a mean and nasty racist far right wing conservative.

I could get behind that rule.

The major problem I have with this is: How much does it cost to test all these people versus how many will you actually be able to cut off welfare due to a positive drug test. The juice isn't worth the squeeze. I think that it will cost MORE for the testing than any savings. It's a minor victory for FL that they don't have people on welfare spending public funds on drugs (on paper anyway.) It would be a lot easier to cut off welfare off after time X OR make the recipient provide proof that they've had made SIGNIFICANT attempts to find work and couldn't. I'd sooner give partial payment to someone who at least tried than this endless faucet without end of public assistance.

  5. The only additional thing you have to worry about here is that what you're describing isn't a shotgun by federal definition (shotguns have a stock) so you have to be 21 to purchase it. You can still buy it in NJ on just a FID and a NICS check however. The only thing different is the age limit.

  6. For anyone who may have missed the mention of this in the Cherry Ridge working weekend thread.

I've been all summer without shooting trap. I need the fix, and it's predicted to be a perfect day for it.

    We usually start around 1.

Where is this place and is it open to the public?

How much for a round? Birds included in the price?

  7. Cherry Ridge in Highland Lakes NJ has semi routine 50 BMG matches on the weekend a couple of time per year. They do allow you to practice on their 200/300 yard range with limited projectiles(lead core only no solids or anything with steel in it) on Wednesday and Thursday of each week.
