    You can only give one negative per day, but multiple positives per day. I understand the point of having a limit, but I think that the limit is too restrictive. I often find myself not having enough points to give out.....most of the time positives.

     

    But just like others have said, I try not to take it too seriously. I have received negative points before. But 50?? Damn......I dont even think I have seen 50 negative points in all. I dont know where you got it all Radek.

     

    Yeah, I know. Some folks don't like me and that's fine.

    I am working on a project and have questions. I am doing research on the net, but figure I would ask here as well.

     

    I know the typical composition of brass (metals %/ratio), but from what I could gather, different (e.g., pistol vs. rifle) cases have different mix of metals ... what are some sources for these details?

     

    On a related note, about mass manufactured bullets.

    • Are FMJ/TMJ typically mostly copper plated?
    • Are the cores typically lead?
    • Where can I find detailed info on metal composition of the plating?
    • Who makes bullet manufacturing equipment, manual/automated?

    I will be joining the club when they will take applications next month (I think 2nd Sunday of the month?)

     

    In the meantime, anyone who is a member at OBJRPC and willing to sign me in as guest, please, please PM me. I am picking up a handgun (45acp) I want to try out. Of course, you are welcome to shoot my guns as well.

     

    Today, available after 6:30pm, weekend anytime.

     

    On a related note, need 45acp ammo, can't find any local store that has it.

    Each member is only able to make one negative and one positive rating per day. If your rating dropped 20 points in a day you pissed off at least 20 people. Maybe the problem isn't the "person" who keeps rating you down...

     

    Haha. Nothing I have posted in the last day or so would piss 20 people off.

    Hello everybody! Are there any other Freemasons on the forum? I have been traveling for 4 years and hail from Hiram Abiff Lodge #16 PHA in EHT, NJ. I am also a Holy Royal Arch Mason and a 32˚ Scottish Rite Mason. I've gone as high as Junior Warden but had to step out of line to handle personal issues. I am planning on starting a shooting club within my lodge. So far, about 9 of us are interested. Several of us are in the process of trying to get FOID cards and pistol permits. When all of us have them, we will join a range together.

     

    Does this define Freemasons accurately? If not, care to educate on the facts vs. fiction?

    I have to say the fact that your brother charged you with this says a lot about him. I don't get along with my brother much but I don't think he's stupid enough to pull a stunt like this. I kicked more a** because of my brother than I needed to for my own bull crap.

     

    I can't believe a family matter escalated this far. I would just stay clear of him and not kiss his a** at all. That will just give him a reason to fles his chest. Deal with what comes your way and lawyer up if need be.

    I would be more concerned at the fact that your brother is harassing your sister and files a complaint against his own brother.

     

    That's the part that really sucks. Siblings fight all the time, but law-suits are an abnormal behavior.

     

    I think lawyering up is blowing it out of proportion, unless your conversation involved much more (e.g., severe threats) than just concern for your sister. If there is nothing incriminating in what you said, then do appear in court and prepare a written statement (indicating your concern for sister, etc.). Also, taking a written statement from your sister (about what the folks did to her) would be very helpful. A reasonable judge will be sympathetic to you. Don't kiss your brother's a**.

     

    A counter-argument would work (like PK90 said), provided you didn't threaten him in a recorded conversation. btw. Any idea why there was a your brother-in-law at the other end? How did they know you would be calling? ...

    My negative rating is at a record -50 today! Just yesterday it was -30! WTF?

     

    I know, I am not the most popular guy here, but this rating is getting absurd. I speak my mind and don't try to be artificially "nice" for the sake of it. If that bothers some people then they are free to post their opinion in the threads, but not anonymously.

     

    My marketplace rating is excellent (except for 1 unpleasant incident a while ago). The feedback mechanism in marketplace works fine.

     

    fyi. I have requested maks if he can simply disable the rating system. Unless the person who giving the rating is also identified (I know, there is some limitation in software ...) and gives a reason, this just makes no sense to keep enabled.

    Awesome! Hope it works out for you without any complications. Keep us posted how it works on the range!

     

    Also, please post contact info on this doctor. How did you happen to select? I am about to take the plunge myself.
