Register an LLC but DO NOT USE YOUR NAME AS THE BUSINESS NAME.
Pay the tax man honestly. I had a small LLC and never a problem with the State or Uncle.

I am sending in tomorrow. The application does not require but I am enclosing a copy of my NJ DL and FID. SHould I send in copies of valid FL & UT ccw?

.22 S & W #617. Great gun, perfect for target and HD.

Better off getting a 12g 32" barrels for a good overall gun. Less recoil than a 20g if the gun is fitted, add weight.

Back to funny CL.
1. Boo hoo, no more peter goldwing. hahahahaha
2. I bought a safe from a woman 1 hour away. After I looked at it, she admitted did not know the combo. WTF????? At least it was open. I couldn't be angry, her kid was standing behind her. OK let's be civil I thought (not easy). She "promised" to find the previous owner and send the combo. Good effing luck.
I still took it and drove home. WOuld you believe she actually did find & send the combo in the mail? Of course I replied with the cash! Good karma.
3. Old school CL. I found a guy selling a mooring (350 lb mushroom anchor & 200' of HD chain for you land-lovers) down in Maryland. We agreed to meet at an abandoned gas station and he would lead me into the woods to exchange cash for rusty metal. What could possibly go wrong with this? I had 120 lbs of dog and a Browning Hi-Power with me.
Boring part of the story, we loaded the stuff in my truck and I paid him. Yawn.

If there is any profile besides flat, this has to be cnc machined but guess what, anything with an optical function will require special surface work. With that quantity and detail, you need an injection mold. A small one would cover the part cost. Especially if it is convex blah blah blah

If all the guns were not lost off the boat during a hurricane, does anybody have recommendations for gun insurance at home? The maximum rider for New Jersey Manufacturers is $5,000 which we all know is about 1/2 of a shotgun. Much prefer to have the whole gun insured.
Thanks all,

One of my containers is near Egypt, not underway. Good thing we don't need the things that badly.

Thanks my gun brothers. 100% correct on the lack-o-effectiveness of wasp spray. I looked at enough Youtubes to see that. Best upgrade to the 12g. I shoot at 10k clays a year and am comfortable with it. Looking at a 870T with a 18-1/2" second barrel. Great way to practice a few thousand times.
THe upper level has 99% visibility of the middle level and the lower level has 95% visibility from the middle level. I am very comfortable with those sight lines.

Home invasion
This is why she puts up with my antics
0545, not fully asleep. House alarm goes off: ENTRY DETECTED ENTRY DETECTED INTRUDER INTRUDER........repeated in spanish......... wow is it loud!
Since we live in Brick (safest city in America haha & the herion kids are among us, this may be the real deal.
I pull my trusty HD weapon from the bedside table- a giant can of wasp spray and prepare to defend the castle. Alarm still sounding, wife up and ready for battle. A quick look around the upstairs hall and cautiously proceed downstairs.
With apology to real military and LEO, my inner Seal Team Six kicks in. Alarm is sounding and indicating the back door was opened. I flip on lights as I quick check the rooms on the second level so the BG aren't behind me if I open fire. No other doors or windows seem breached. Phone rings immediately, it is the alarm company. Nice 15 second response time!
I can see down toward the back door, all the lights are on. Alarm still going. Dog NOT barking?????? WTF???? WHy am I feeding the thing?????
OK, cleared each room and closet- always advancing from cover. No panic- it's my house and I am ready to unleash a deadly spray until the can is empty and followup with bayonet attack. That's how we roll in the Brick.
OK, all safe. Doors and windows intact. No one around. Cancelled the alarm. Must have been a faulty sensor. I think we acted calmly and with purpose.
Part 2
How I earn my keep
Job 1: why did this happen/ just another MF thing to fix around the castle. When will it end?????
Check door sensor contacts: OK
Check alarm panel connection: OK
Check continuity of wire thru the wall: NOT OK mmmmmmmmmmm
Check alarm contact again- only one wire connected???? mmmmmmm
Disassemble contact. Lone wire sticking out from the wall.
Now it gets weird, recommend you lock & load.
Wire starts moving furiously on its own!!!! It is waving like a Democrat on election day !!! I start pulling off baseboard trim like crazy (should have gone to get my spray but no time) plus I was well armed with a screwdriver.
Hey, there is a mouse in there!!!! Pulled him out and kept jabbing around. They usually are not alone. Scared another one out thru the hole to the outside. They had chewed thru one wire entirely and stripped 2" of insulation off the other. This is what I get for not leaving the TV on overnight for them to watch.
Simple repair- seal the hole, steel wool, poison, peppermint oil, solid insulation, fix wires, test, paneling, trim- mission accomplished. Alarm company would have charged me $160. Wife thinks I am a hero and buys me beer.
The castle is safe again.

I use Ruger LCP in a Sneaky Pete case holster. Not really concealed but meets legal requirements. If I lived in a different state, would get a plastic gun. Light and resistant to sweat. Remember, if you ever use it- it may be confiscated.

I thought serpas were the guys that carry beer up Mount Everest.

Sure, scratches & dents suck but most $12,000 Krieghoff shotguns have cosmetic damage. Who cares, it's all about breaking the bird. If you shoot 10,000 rounds per year thru a gun, it's going to happen. Get over it. Better a scratch than a safe Queen.

I shoot home made 7/8 oz 12g and they are like a .22 recoil. High velocity and they smoke birds. Much more fun to shoot a 12g and hit than a 20 g and miss. Yes, trappers, I know 7/8 oz is the same from 12g or 20 g but it is a different pattern.

So sorry to hear about the dog attack. I have a gentle female Pit and she has been jumped twice, does not fight back. The first time it happened, we went right to the expensive emergency vet. I presented the $500 bill to the attacking dog owner with "The look" and she wrote a check on the spot.
Next time I will have a hatchet or a dirk.

Cabelas and the Weber Grill Restaurant. They cook man food on 5' diameter Webers.

OMG I saw "Black Men for Bernie" campaign bus on the side of the road. I almost died laughing. Could not take a pic, was driving an overloaded truck. Full size tour bus with professional graphics all over it.
-
It is a very good trap field. I have shot at a few and this has a great background.

Well, now I can get the dirk I have always wanted. For legal purpose only!
My regular carry knives are Spyderco; excellent tools.

Car Sale update
I think it is going to work out OK. Dealer offered me $17k for the Maxima and 7K for a perfectly good 2004 Silverado 1500 4WD (140k miles) trade in on a $29K 2013 Silverado 4WD w/18k miles. They take the trade ins off the price so I have to pay $4k cash, sales tax on that and whatever fees they stick me with. If this goes good, I will have a much newer truck for less than 5 grand.
But I am not done with these mfs yet. I am going to take the truck to my garage for a good look over if possible or have a friend check it. Also want my $500 bonus for being a repeat customer. This will be my third car from them and I have mt eye on a car for my wife soon.
The good thing is that I am not dying for the truck and can walk out anytime,

I am asking advice from my gun toting brothers:
Selling a Nissan Maxima 2012 40k miles. It has 80K on a transferable warranty, dealer serviced, non-smoking adult owner. I think it is worth about $22,00 and I have never sold anything like this before. I usually drive them into the ground. I had a job in north Jersey and brought it to be a commuting car. It is fast and heavy, good on the highway.
I was lucky to get a job close to home and can drive my truck. I am getting tired of the driveway shuffle.
Anybody, tips? I am already wise to the money order and fake bank check scams. This is only going face to face with good ID. I have the title and can sign it over to a bank if the person borrows.
I would appreciate any advice. It is probably safer to buy or sell a gun or ammo to you guys than this car.
Thanks, friends. PM me if you want to keep comments offline.
Hey moderators, this is NOT a for-sale add. I just need advice to do this easily or else I would be meeting potential buyers at the pits in CJRPC, my usual habitat. HAHAHAHAHAHA

Make sure you paint the rock or it will turn yellow over the years. Throw up a few sheets of 1/2" plywood instead of rock for better tool hanging. Spend a little time and money doing it right, you will enjoy it over the years. Ours has natural gas heat and a window AC unit. Great place to work when it's too hot to be outside. You can get the room just right for painting or epoxy curing. Don't forget the Farrah Fawcett poster and sound system. Yes, I spend alot of time out there. I skipped the perfect floor, better for painting/welding/general screwing around.
