  1. lol umm thanks for relationship advice. she is all about going shooting but just does not want a gun in the house (ya doesn't make sense). right now im just trying to find a decent place to go shooting. maybe when she holds one in her hand and fires off some rounds she will be more open to one in the house. got brainwashed by some ultra liberal people she knows.
  2. GREAT GAME!!! anyone playing on the PC multiplayer?
  3. I got an fid and pistol permit but my gf is hesitant to the gun idea (brainwashed by a few people). so i want to take her this weekend to a range to shoot some guns and clear up the misconceptions and let her experience it for herself. i have been shooting in other states and you do not need a firearm there, they let you rent a gun ($10-$20 per gun). Any places in NJ and PA that do this? I dont have a gun yet b/c of the flack i am catching from my girlfriend so i dont have a gun to use for a few hours. Thanks guys!
  4. dont you feel as though you are "damaging" the gun by doing that? i feel as though im doing something so awful to the gun having all that modified like that. well i wouldnt want all these to be "permanent" in case, actually WHEN I MOVE OUT OF NJ lol. with regards to those colts, what exactly makes them legal vs their old colts saying ar15? like the Colt 6920 Law Enforcement 5.56 Complete Lower Receiver, is that not allowed in nj? i see the basic MT6400, but id rather the 6920 lower, then get the upper and stock on my own without the lug.
  5. ya but you are so limited in NJ with it. id love an AR15 in nj but these laws are so freakin gay. i dont understand how a Colt AR15 is banned in this state, yet other companies are ok? the fs2000 is a small gun but 100% legal bc of the barrel. the gas system is amazing, there is no brass going everywhere it just rolls out. there is no need for a pistol grip at all. it wont ever be considered an assault weapon. you can add rails to the front and attach a handle and laser. it is a great gun! Not really that limited if you think about it. Yes the laws are arcane but they're passable for me (except the 15 round rule, absolutely despise that). I wouldn't want an SBR, it's just not my thing and I wouldn't want to lose the velocity that a 16" barrel affords with a 5.56. Yes the stock has to be pinned, which is fine for me. Find the right length, pin it, done. LOP on most stocks (especially the ones I'm looking at) is 3.5". Not that huge of a variance. Muzzle brake has to be pinned? Fine, I was going to get a PWS FSC556 which is both a flash hider and a comp anyway (most importantly considered a comp or "brake" by the government, documented). Not to mention, if I ever move, I can just get new furniture and sell the Jersey-specific stuff to someone here. For the same money as the FS2000 I can get a more accurate, more reliable rifle that maintains parts compatibility with 90% of the black rifles in the country. And I can customize the snot out of it. id love to get an AR in nj, problem is i cant own a colt for some unknown reason and the setups i like cannot be in NJ.
  6. that 5.7 is an awesome gun, just wish the ammo wasnt so damn expensive
  7. They aren't banned. Only certain models with certain writing on them, if you can believe that. I compete with a Colt "Match Target HBAR" which is a Colt AR-15 with a different name on it. Completely NJ compliant, purchased at the Bullet Hole actually, but I've seen them in most better stores. -Melg i really want an AR bad!!!! the guns are just too badass. i really want the collapsible stock and flash suppressor though
  8. ya but you are so limited in NJ with it. id love an AR15 in nj but these laws are so freakin gay. i dont understand how a Colt AR15 is banned in this state, yet other companies are ok? the fs2000 is a small gun but 100% legal bc of the barrel. the gas system is amazing, there is no brass going everywhere it just rolls out. there is no need for a pistol grip at all. it wont ever be considered an assault weapon. you can add rails to the front and attach a handle and laser. it is a great gun!
  9. my friend owns an FS2000, the gun is simply amazing! the weight to it, the accuracy is unbelievable. there is little to no recoil with the gun. i plan on buying one
  10. ah nice thank you! im terribly upset that that the Colt AR's are banned in this state. i just dont understand how you can ban a manufacturer like that.
  11. how did you manage the bushmaster in this state? the bushmaster assault rifle was listed in a banned list for NJ on a thread on AR15 Bushmaster Assault rifle
  12. any update? i was told by my police department that it would take 4 months for mine to process!!! i was pretty mind blown by that to be honest. hopefully you got yours before the OGAM.
