  1. No No No

Mayor Nutbag can stay on HIS side of the Delaware River, please!

And let's send his fellow Dems (Andrews, Greenwald, etc) over to join him in a rowhouse on Osage Ave.

I'll even call in the helo with the satchel charge! :icon_twisted:

  2. I'm in a complete dilemma about what to do but I feel if I'm going to spend the 650 for the base model it would be stupid not to spend the extra 50 dollars and get a pro series instead. I'm just having a hard time justifying going double over my original budget that I had set for myself.

If this was you, what would you do?

I'd find an older S&W Model 10 M&P for her and let her shoot away!

I assume (yes, I know!) you're reloading, so keep the charge light for her

    Good luck

  3. Please post proof of your statement.

    One independen opinion

And what do you think the answer would be if you asked Rep. Giffords (D-AZ) or her .mil hubby if she would rather have been hit by a .45acp round instead of the 9mm Luger that caught her in the forehead?

It's all a matter of opinion, and I firmly believe that as a Service round, 9mm Luger is MUCH less effective than .45acp

Ask the Germans, who lost two world wars using the 9 as their Service handgun load.

  4. t shirt maker

I just went here and made the shirt but cant post it. Just save the design to your computer and then upload it to the site, enlarge and center it. I think I like it in red too.

Sites like this one are set up to allow you to design and order your custom shirts from this particular vendor.

One-stop shopping, as it were. Only in Athens Georgia :icon_e_surprised:

What we need for this t-shirt project is an eps or jpg (or similar format) document for the front and the back.

Having a jpg will allow us to post it here for members to see what they're buying and choose the color scheme(s) they want.

We can do long and short sleeve on the same order.

Once we decide how many colors on each side, and sleeve length (long and/or short) I can get the pricing together, including USPS or UPS (as appropriate) shipping to each buyer. Payment can be made by USPS money order or TD Bank checks.

The one-time production order will be placed only after we reach the threshold determined by the pricing.

In the past, 50 shirts was the absolute minimum for a group buy, with better pricing on a total order of 100 or more.

Then they're about 10 days for production. I pick them up at the print house, sort and package them, then send them off to you. It's only then that I cash the money orders and checks.

If we don't reach the minimum number of shirts, the sale is canceled and you get your check or money order back.

    Disappointment follows. :icon_e_sad:

So let's avoid that whole sad scene.

  5. Joni, the image XDJon posted is good. But a more detailed zombie head would be prefurable. And I want that logo on the back. On the front would be an image of the state of New Jersey with the NJZED letters over it, in blood red.

It's what the final decesion would be. Although I'd (and we) would like to see the final product here before we order the shirts.

I guess I wasn't completely clear in my earlier post.

I'm not an artist, nor do I have access to design tools (like Photoshop or Illustrator)

We need to give the print house final, full size artwork (in electronic form) so that the screens can be made up with which to silkscreen the shirts.

One screen per color per side.

The more screens, the higher the price.

We also need to choose the shirt color(s) (Max 2, please) from a list of available colors based on the specific unprinted shirt we choose.

But most importantly, AND FIRST, we need FINAL ARTWORK

Who is our resident van Gogh?

  6. I understand, but since you know what's involved how hard would this be to get off the ground? An email to a t-shirt company or something?

I'm not in the t-shirt business either, but I've got a good local vendor I've used in the past, doing 2 successful NY/NJ arfcom hometown forum t-shirt projects.

    1. If you guys (ie, someone other than me) can reach a consensus on the final artwork

    and

    2. We can do at least 50 shirts (100 or more would be even better)

    then

I will do the administrative (order taking, collecting, ordering and shipping) part

  8. There are still 2 Frozen Nutz (300yd prone) matches at SJSC (Feb 27 and Mar 20) left to shoot.

Then the TriCounty League (100yd across the course on reduced targets) and monthly NRA Matches (200yd across the course on reduced targets) start at SJSC

The 600yd range at Cumberland is reopen (after total reconstruction last year) and ready for the 200-300-600yd across the course matches that start soon.

If anyone is interested in participating in any or all of them, give me a shout.

    Good shooting, guys!

  9. ...Why is this state so effed?...

It's the punishment we bear for having elected total a$$hats as governors, including, but certainly not limited to:

William Franklin, the loyalist illegitimate son of Benjamin Franklin

Woodrow Wilson, king of the 20th century progressives (Barry Soetoro is king of the 21st century class)

    and

James Joseph Florio, who as an amateur boxer, had his brain bounced around in his skull so much that he lost all sense of reason and called for a permanent "assault weapon" ban that served as the model for the failed and expired 1994 Bill (let me stick my cigar in there) Clinton version.

  10. This show is absolutely bigger, but bigger does not mean better.... at least to me. Prefer the smaller shows where the regulars come and the prices are not jacked up just due to the venue. Was really glad though,, as this was an eagle arms show.... no Nazi crap, and no dollar store imports.

Actually, one table of nazis snuck in, along the wall between the entry door and the hot dog cart.

No deals at the show, but all in all, a decent gun show (considering the shows we get here in the PRNJ) :icon_e_confused:

  11. I don't own any Lee reloading products except their factory crimp dies, but I saw this on special at Wideners and lately some members have been asking about reloading with limited space.

    http://www.wideners....ir=210|212|1021

That picture looks like fractured toes just waiting to happen!

I have my Rock Chuckers (one in my apt, one in my office) mounted to pieces of 2x10 and bolted to the top of folding workmates.

When there's a high-force stroke necessary, I just put my foot on the front crossbar of the workmate to hold it down.

  12. And you know what that fingerprint does on your FPID card?

    ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. :icon_e_surprised:

Use your big toe if you want.

When I moved into my town eight years ago, I did the change of address thing and not only did they not put my print on the new card, they mailed it right to my home address. They've done the same thing with ALL my pistol permits since.
