basically what it boils down to, is that the vote to add the Hughes Ammendment (922 9o), AKA the 1986 Machine Gun Ban) FAILED it's voice vote, but was declared passed by the Chariman (Charles Rangel..go figure) someone called for a Record vote, and Rangel ignored it, Smirking. Another leftist Rep ranted on about something completely off base, dragging out the rest of the time. There have been anecdotal accounts of the improprieties of that vote, but NOBODY seemed to ahve the video of it. People at the time recorded it but again, nobody could ever actually produce the tape. Ajax22 from Calguns and ARF, who is a Law Student found that the Library of Congress DOES have the raw video of every congressional session on file, and Ajax was able to get a DVD of teh relevant material. 922(o) was apparently added to FOPA improperly at best. There have been a bunch of Congresscritters notified about this, so now we'll see where it goes.

If you're interested in practicing for HiPower rifle, for example, you can shoot through the doorway of both the 100 and 300yd ranges. One lane per range.
You can also fire prone, either from the concrete in front of the line, or on the grass in front of the shooting house, provided no one else is shooting behind you.
My first couple of winters at sjsc, I shot offhand 100yd through the doorway and when the season started in Spring, the practice showed.

Right now I am planing on opening in Mullica Hill, I have already talked to the Zoning Office and there is a space for lease in area that is properly zoned.
The town is pretty conservative, it's a mostly republican base. And the Police are not anti-gun so I don't for see any issues there. But you never know.

The XDm in .45 is sweeeeeet. Very little recoil. I'd rather have 10 huge bullets than 15 medium sized ones.
Nice thing about the XD45's is that both the original and the XDm run the same 13 round mags

There WAS a time Mak where you could possess a handgun under 18 in NJ. You still had to go through the permit process, but you could not buy from an FFL, it had to be F2f. However, THAT HAS CHANGED, You can no longer purchase a handgun in NJ under the age of 21 with one exception. A Law Enforcement officer MAY purchase a DUTY handgun with an appropriate letter from his Chief, since you can still become an LEO in NJ at 18.

But I'd bet the vast majority of NJ Judges, Legislators and Law Enforcement officials will tell you that possession or use of firearms in order to defend those rights is OUT OF THE QUESTION and must be avoided to protect the public safety.
