I have to say I disagree with some of this info being posted. I took my 870 to the range with the bird-hunting barrel(unsure of the length but it's way longer than my slug barrel) and a full choke and at 7 yards it was making 12"+ holes with 00 buck.

Of course, I can hunt with a semi-automatic shotgun loaded with hollow point 3 1/2" slugs with no problems.

As far as I know, it's legal to hunt with a semi-automatic rifle as long as you're properly licensed and the rifle is loaded with the required number of rounds, but can you see people freaking out when they see you out in the field with an AR? :shock:

I didn't have a bad day at work Pete, it's just that we get so many guys that say they are gonna come out to have half or more cancel the day before or the day of. Even worse are no-shows.

It's cool ray, and believe me when I tell ya... I'm usually the last to flake at the last minute. Today is definitely a rare occurrence.
