  1. How about a little compromise (known as common sense) from the jerks in Trenton?  OK, no rockets to land on the other guys roof. But how about allowing a lousy firecracker, cherry bomb or similar.

As stated elsewhere 'screw 'em all'.

  2. This one is a riot. Very funny.

So what if the Gal was 18 and did have 1 six pack of beer. Who cares? Purchased illegally? WHO CARES?

What if the Gal was a soldier in Afghanistan lying in the street with her legs blown off? DOES ANYBODY CARE?  Now that is a crime and the perps are your gov. leaders.

When Homeland Security SWATS invade your home mistakenly , even injuring you, and proven to be in the wrong, it is ILLEGAL for you to tell anybody about the incident and you have no recourse. Thank you Patriot Act.

Screw 'em all.  The NSA squealer probably should  do time but he did do us a service.

  3. I don't give a crap about all your ifs ands and buts. This is a start. A small bit of progress. A small beginning. I'll take it.

    Yay God. Yay Big Boy.

I emailed a bunch of NJ legislators to tell them that compared to Big Boy they have no brains. I have no interest in peaceful loving gun debates at this point in the action.

Don't forget your thank you email to Big Boy.

  4. I bought powder at Cheyenne today and they logged my FID in the book and the cashier took my name/phone/address. (They wanted to send an SS SWAT team to my house but I talked them out of it.)

Is this normal in NJ? I think they are nuts.

No question - I'll be visiting PA for reloading supplies.

  5. It's all in the bucks, Folks.

Dix 14 is $60 plus an hourly fee for  limited hours, crappy rules and non continuous shooting. And I like it there.

SJRPC and CJRPC for example are $MANYHUNDREDBUCKS for daily operation, less shooting limitations, 300yds., etc.

I heard somebody say 'you get what you pay for'. And I am too cheap. LOL.

  6. Yes Sir, I am, we are jaded.  If you see real dangerous activity then call the cops and don't expect any dough.

Or maybe we go on a schedule pf payments. I turn you in as follows and collect:

    $25 for speeding.

$10 for spitting in the street.

    $20 for no turn signal.

    $199 for farting in public.

$32 for lights off during rain.

$22 cause your lawn is too high.

    So there.

  7. Yah love it!

"I would love to see you riding your bike to the range with a couple of AR's strapped to your back. lol"

I am with you only my load will be AK!!.

Only about two things I enjoy = shooting and riding my road bike or cruiser bike. You gotta keep making those endorfins.

(OK sex and beer are great also.)

    Peace.

  8. I already researched this but I also value the good advice from NJGF long time reloaders.

Here is what I think I know. The brass ejects into the receiver cover and 'ding', you have a dent and then it flies 21.345 feet. (LOL) I can see the bluing is gone the cover edge.

    Not sure I know this.

The reloaded brass will 'formfire' and reduce the dent.

The reloaded bad dented cases may blow in the chamber.

I need a cushion on the receiver cover edge. (automotive door edge protector??)

As usual some say they reloaded 1000s with no problems.

Thanks. Apologies if this was previously discussed. Reference??

  9. I hope they are not going to sell those awful assault rifles.

And why buy ammo in NJ? Buy in PA or anywhere else. NJ is rich  -  doesn't need the tax money.  If the NJ retailers have a problem with that they need to call Christie.

Bonus - your purchase will not be recorded. Yahoo!!!!!!!!!!

  10. Well this in interesting. Many want to leave NJ cause of the 15 mag limit and other things.  Johnson Rebel must want to leave for any state with less than 10. I am (normally) confused. GO Johnny GO!!  Please GO.

You can turn in any gun you want right now. Why do we need another stupid law? Just to tie up the NJSP? We have buy backs galore going on all over the place.

What I want  and need in firearms is none of anybody's F@#$%^& business.  It's all legal. Leave it that way or remove restrictions.

And what's wrong with anger, foul language and non civility???  It makes the world go round. It is often quite appropriate. So there. I bet some of you think it is wrong to spank your kid. LOL. Hurry, call DieFuss.   Sorry gotta go and beat my dog - oh sorry again I don't have a dog.

  11. http://www.nj.com/hunterdon-county-democrat/index.ssf/2013/05/conviction_upheld_for_man_moving_to_texas_with_suv_full_of_guns.html

    Nappen is defending this guy.

The moral for you.  If the cops can see gun cases on your car seat they can search the vehicle without a warrant. It's called the PLAIN VIEW exception and is typical BS from NJ Commie Judges. So get a towel, blanket or whatever it takes. Always use the trunk if you have one.

    That is all.

  12. Thank you Heavy & Sig. I use a Hornady small cal. powder drop with Hornady scale - Alliant Unique.

I find no data that exactly matches my 'stuff' so I get all possible combinations and make the most safe cartridge I can. No interest in getting high velocity or anything fancy. Example. No published data for - Xtreme plated 180 bullets with above powder with Blazer once fired brass and Fed primers. I make measurements to assure that the powder fits without compression.

What are the main 'pressure signs' when firing?

    Thanks again.

  13. Just started and it's really fun. Trying to be very deliberate so I don't blow off my face.

I deprimed some Hornady 308 Whitetail.  Putting in the new primers took like 999 ft lbs of effort. So I call Hornady and SURPRISE - "well we have a light crimp in those so you have to ream them". It's not a big deal IF you know what's going on. So much for only military primers being crimped.

Then I get to crimp stage for some 40SW. Well the whole cartridge slides right through  the crimp insert. WOW! I call Lee and yes, they had a shipping/kitting problem. The correct crimp insert is on the way.

Then I bump into the now famous 45ACP  with small pistol primer NT by Federal.  Another crimp job that needs reaming. Oh well.

Now a question for you guys. For competitive rifle shooting like 300 yard F Class or Garand: What powder tolerance do you achieve and how do you do it?  Do you target a range or percentage? Do you tweak each cartridge on an expensive scale?

I was doing some 40SW with a target of 5.9gr and had a range of say 5.8 to 6.1. That doesn't seem to be very good to me.

    Thanks.

  14. Hey I have watched (or at least sampled) most all of these reality deals. This is one is by far the WORST. Talk about hill billies and red necks - this is them. I am not wearing a tie and am not sophisticated and not a snob. These people are hillbillies.

Most of these shows lack a couple of really good looking females!! LOL. That would make a diff.

Sons of Guns, Wild Alaska and others are bad but better than Mucktucky. Nothing like Top Gun but we shall see how the new format works out.

    That is all.
