I now cant decide between the carry 9, cm 9 or the p290. The para is the nicest. Will try them all and maybe get 2 of the three. Need too find a place that carries all three. Looks like shore shot may be my best bet

I see what you mean. I may have to take you up on the offer to shoot it to see if I can get away with it. I can see me bringing it to them and them looking up the spec and seeing that it says SA/DA and them telling me no but after seing some shooting videos I can't see why it would be a problem. I will look into it further. Plus I want to see the p290 and the cm9 in the same place and at the same time to render a decision on the two.

My piece has to be DAO as per my carry rules. I do like the taurus' though.

I still cant get over the price of the kahr, especially the one with the laser. Thats a grand. That might be the deal breaker.

LCP is .380. I need 9mm. Maybe I will just get the sig 290 and the AMT. Who needs to decide between the two. LOL

OK I am looking for a pocket pistol/ bug gun type weapon. I have specific criteria I have to meet for this weapon due to rules I must follow. Must be 9mm and DAO trigger. I have a sig p250 compact/subcompact and a SW 3953. Like both but sometime a little too bulky for conceal carry. These are the options i have so far and would like to hear your opinions. Rorbaugh--way too pricy and not sure of reliability Walther PPS- reliability issues Kahr pm9 new Kahr CM 9-- questions about reliability on Kahrs Ruger LC9- not a fan of the external safety Springfield XD- seems to be same as my p250 sub compact Am I missing any options. I hate these rules for work.

Wanted to go last night but I had a work function and some drinking was involved. My BAC was too high to go shooting after. Will definitely try to make the next one.

Just when I have more time to devote to shooting I am severely limited in doing so. Hand injury on my strong hand from work. Might have to learn lefty as pointed out by a certain somebody. Will have to stop by and make an introduction at least.

Hello Everybody. I am glad to be a part of these forums. I have only been active in the gun owning community for the past three years. Always been interested but never really knew anybody who owned to show me the ropes. Now that I handle weapons on a daily basis and shooting is a requirement at my job I have found my new passion. I own several handguns and a shotgun. Will be adding to arsenal as much as possible. By the way I am a lifelong Bayonne resident but never shot at the local range.
