I was looking forward to being off on the weekends for these events. This weekend would be my 1st off on the new schedule but because of yesterday it's 16 to 20's both days. Hopefully my buddy and I can make it

There is no sop right now. This a new unit and everything is starting up quick. I trained this week with some of the gear they gave us and the pouches suck plus our plate carriers aren't in yet so I'm using one of my own. My plan is to carry six rifle mags total with 4 pistol mags. 3 rifle/pistol combo open top tacos on the plate carrier. One mag loaded in each of the m4 and glock. 2 spare M4 mags attached to a drop rig on my support side. Also on that drop rig will be my tourniquets and med pouch. No war belt because I will be wearing a duty belt. All nylon for the duty belt and holsters.

Funny this thread pops up now. My dept just started a new counterterrorism specific detail. I got picked for one of the team's. All heavy weapons and plate carrier deployment all day. Had a basic carrier setup that I kept in my car for patrol. Training this week really made me need to rethink my setup. Have to put together a new rig in the next two weeks. I already have the carrier. Got tired of the loud Velcro so I went with the tubes closure system. So much easier to get on and off. About to order HSGI double stack open top taco pouches for my M4 mags. Will probably use the same for pistol mags

Yeah but if there is nothing supporting the slab because of settling then that needs to be addressed. For a wall crack dry groove out and add hydraulic cement

I'm partial to Nicaraguan cigars as well. Lot of good stuff coming out of LaZona nowadays

Cubans are overrated at this point. First off I don't like supporting that country because of them harboring a certain fugitive for years and there are so many good cigars coming out of non Cuban countries.

Depends on how deep and wide the crack is. It could be just a surface crack or could be one side settled more than the other and it separated from each other

Went to caso's today. They have some gen 5's in. Handled and dry fired it. Not enough of a difference for me to get one. Stick with my g4 19 MOS
