This is still a good question. Do most people with 1911's shoot in limited-10 or in single-stack? My thought is shoot in limited-10 as there are more shooters in that division, and you get the benefit of major with the 45.

I would not trust turning on red with the camera. If it goes off, you have zero proof you fully stopped or waited, its you against a picture showing you through the red. Note the turn on red law is optional, you are never required to turn on red.

Speaking of RO's, did you see our names printed in the latest Front Sight Magazine?
We're all famous nshit
Does that mean you will all purchase those little dogs?

Agree on the 22lr. I have several and would not part with them at all. It will also get you into Obrams and Steel, very fun, very inexpensive!

Sitting under the canopy at stage 3 had a constant pluking sound from above. I think the pit behind it (stage4?) has a gravel floor, maybe that pit promoted the splatter?

I just recently got a Spartan in 9mm. I also have a 1911 in 45. I love the 1911 style pistol. The Spartan is a great shooting gun right out of the box and it has been all I've shot recently. So I agree with the above statement, get one and you will be very happy. I also put a 22 conversion kit on it and it shoots great with that also.
Did you put the 22conversion kit on the 9mm Spartan? Was it a kit make for it, or is it just a standard 1911 conversion kit?

My brother has a mini-14 in stainless, its a nice rifle, shoots well, a bit tricky to take apart for cleaning the first few times. Was tossed to get one, but went for the AR. I dont know current pricing but my MP15 ORC was just under $800. Next time out I was able to shoot them side by side, the AR was more accurate and shot smoother. I still like his mini-14, but its off my list. My brother likes the traditional look of the mini, and he is a fan of pistons. It depends on what you want to do with the rifle. He shoots the mini at 50yards with irons. I scoped my AR and shoot it from 15 to 200 yards.
Have you had a chance to shoot a mini-14?

I was thinking of doing this, but went with a cx4 for something different. Runs flawless.

I have been going to easton for years, and never once on a weekend. Seems its calming down out there?

I may be there. What time is registration?

Is center fire rifle limited to something like a 9mm carbine?

This has me interested. Do these Saiga's come in .223 (I would like to not get into another calibur)? And which model is the closest looking to the AK? Do any of them come with wood?
-
How much would the pvc and glue cost to make one of these?

I was looking for you on Wed, very crowded meeting hall! I left quick after for my drive home, I did get my special use badge.

yes, in easton you can run your full mag. If you check the calendar, they also have a full-auto day event.

Yep, this gun has the FSS and trigger kit. I was afraid that the trigger would disqualify me from Production Division. Oh well, looks like I get to buy a M&P45 and give major a try, lol. So, as long as I keep the S&W trigger in the 45 I'll be gtg in Production DivIision, right? A trigger job is ok, righ?
Thanks for the belt link too!
No point in shooting 45 in production imho. If you are getting the MP45, then put the stock trigger back in the 9 to use on production, and the ffs trigger on the 45, (or even in 40) so you can score major in limited 10.

I do like the fact that they have a limited membership for crowd control as the outdoor range has 20 spots.
-
I am also on the waiting list for some time now. I was using Easton range while I waited, but finally broke down and joined CJ.

Do you want something that looks like a 1911 or something that feels like a 1911? Do you already have a 1911 in 45? A 22 conversion kit is more expensive, but is the way to go. Unless you like pot metal!
-
The pro it will have to be then. I want the 5" barrel, and the FO is gravy as I also want that, but will be upgrading the trigger. Its a shame on the slide writing.
-
But now you need tools to break down the AR. Also, there are many reviews that have this pin loosening during firing, making the problem worse. If he uses a quality electrical tape rated for high temps he should be good. And the insulating qualities will allow you to shoot in lightning storms, the likes of which always happen during the zombies.

Which versions do not have the extra writing on the slide about the mag? I am thinking of getting the 9L or a 9Pro-5" .

G26? Or is it too big?
Got very tight 10 rnd M&P 9mm Mags? Try this!

So with this fix, is it worth buying the 15 rounders for uspsa?
