  1. well for work i carry a USP, and i carry a P2000sk off dury. i also bought a USP just to have for my wife to use and to keep as an extra pistol. i really don't have a need for it and i don't carry it anyway. i'd rather have the more modern M&P and i'll still have my sk (for now, which i also may replace with a M&P compact down the road). i dont want the USP and the M&P so i'd rather sell one for the other. I also have a TLR-2 which is on the USP now, but i'd rather have it on an M&P, and that gun is just so versitle.

  2. The other day I shot a M&P 40 for the first time and fell in love. I'm thinking of selling my H&K USP 40 and getting a S&W M&P 40. I was just wanting to hear some people's thoughts on the H&K vs the M&P. I'm not going to keep the USP as i also have a P2000sk .40 so it would be either the USP or the M&P.

  3. MOST LEA's in NJ don't require any degree and if they do 9x's out of 10 it can be in basket weaving. My department doesn't require any degree and you don't get anything special if you have one. In NJ especially now it is VERY difficult to get hired especially with all the guys on the RICE list that often do AND SHOULD get first preference on a job. In jersey there are a lot of layoffs and not a lot of hiring. The biggest hiring department right now is NJDOC. Going out of state is not a bad idea if you aren't tied down here.

  4. I could really give two shits buddy. All the cops in my town and the surrounding towns are just meter-maids or ticket machines anyway. Hey, lay em off what do I care, less of a hassle if I park in the wrong spot

    wow, unbelievable

and your very helpful comments have what exactly to do with this thread other than being a douche?

  5. Oh boo-freakin-hoo

Your health insurance is only 10% of your salary and that's a bad thing?

Your pension is small? That's funny, half the private sector doesn't even know what a pension is anymore

the general public in the private sector doesn't deal with scumbags all day with all kinds of diseases (not talking about routine MV stops), the private sector worker generally doesn't put their a** in harms way to protect yours. we deserve a pension and free medical especially since that is what has been promised to us. when you go to work, and have to deal with people who may potentially kill or try to kill you and it's part of your job description then you have a right to comment. come work some shifts in our shoes and see how you change your tune when your going to a call that you have no idea what the potential outcome could be.

  6. The town watch i help run is going to do a cruise night for National Night Out to benefit the Town Watch program. I figured a cruise night would be a great idea. I know it sucks being on a tuesday night, but we wanted it to be on National Night Out.
