I was there a couple of months ago and had a great time. I used this company and the place was great www.jacksonmountainhomes.com

Classic Pistol in PA won't rent you a firearm if you don't bring one. That's a way for them to make sure people won't commit suicide with their guns. They figure out that if you have a firearm of your own likely you won't go to a range to rent one to kill yourself.

I have a 1911, P226 and P229 (all Sig Sauer) chambered on 357sig and I really like the caliber. I do reload my own and it requires a little bit more of experience than other calibers. I like the recoil impulse and it shoots very flat. I also have several 40sw guns and I think I like better the 357sig.

Thank you Nick. I've seen that post and I was looking for some updated info since that post has 5 years. I will find out soon when I have to do it and I'll share here my findings.

Is there someone here who actually lives there and have some real information? I can make my own assumptions too...

Waits in WO are lengthy. EY did you choose WO particularly?
I found a house that I like at a good price. Currently I am in Montclair and this place is 3 minutes away so my commute and all life stays pretty much the same. In Montclair the wait is between two to three months so I hope is not worse than that.

Hello,
Apparently I'll be moving to West Orange in a couple of months. I was wondering if there is any members here who live in that town and could tell me how good or bad is the process there.
Thank you in advance for your input!

...may consider letting these (2) unfired rifles go to fund another project.
Are you going to buy a G35 with that?

Check the video link i posted :-)
Wow! Definitely the trigger bar is disconnected... I should have read your original post more thoroughly...

Kinda hard when the trigger doesn't work.

So, when you pull the trigger the hammer doesn't go back and drops in double action? If you cock the hammer it won't drop with the trigger?
-
Just clean it and lube it and put more rounds through it. It will be fine. That gun has a very tight fit to start with. You haven't break it in yet. I know about thatI will ... i mean it is definitely an freak occurance.

Did you cleaned and lube it before hand? Did the slide was locking all the way forward? Mine was so tight that a couple of times within the first 50 shots didn't go all the way into battery, the hammer will drop down but the striker won't touch the primer

sweet. Very nice looking rifle.
yea I basically trying to figure out if it's better to build it part by part or just buy a complete rifle ...
I wanted to buy the JP GMR13 and I price it up and it was 300 more than I spend on this.
-
This build was around 1500 plus the optic.I know the prices vary depending on the parts used but how much build like this shud cost ?
what are the good ways to save couple of dollars ?
-
I saw some DW Valor/VBob at Budsgunshop.com
I bought a gun from them and totally hassle free. Their prices are not the best but the have some in stock.

I'm sure they work just fine. Like any other AR build is a matter of what you like. I like this one a lot

I bought it straight from JP. They have the prices posted on line. You can order with trigger instaled or not.

Barrel comes next Wednesday. Bolt and captive spring in a couple weeks more... As soon is all together you will see the first test round

Doesn't have LRBHO... I'm a bit fan boy of JP so I like it but I have to admit that they could have save some material in the front end of the receiver like Angstad Arms did

Lower receiver, bolt, capture spring system, trigger group and barrel are JP.
Stock is Battle Arms Development.
Handguard is Midwest Industries.
Upper receiver is Cross Machine Tool.
Magpul grip.
BMC charging handle.
And it will have an Aimpoint PRO
